Hey Everyone!
I applied to the September 2016 intake for the post-bacc program at Kwantlen. So far all I know is that they have "received" my application.
Does anyone know if the ministry curriculum revisions for the 4-year program also apply to the 2-year post-bacc? I also have not been asked for any transcripts yet?
I completed a Kinesiology degree at UBC in 2015.

What/where is Kwantlen?
Wouldn't you be better off asking your curriculum questions of the source? So much more accurate and trust-worthy.
I came here for help or honest feedback as I have not heard anything further from the school and have connected with them on numerous occasions. Was told this was a helpful place to share ideas and/or experiences with different schools and their applications processes. As a university graduate I'm pretty familiar with going to the source, please comment only if you can help me and others with similar queries :)

Maybe ask a mod to move your thread to the Canada sub forum. You'd probably have more luck there as the majority of posters here on the General Nursing sub forum are from the States and can not help you.

I *think* that program is still running. You do know this program is mostly online, right?
Have you searched the archives here? There were some long discussions about it a couple years ago. Like this one https://allnurses.com/canada-nursing-programs/kwantlen-polytechnic-university-834083-page12.html
Did you apply to UBC as well?

Hi sarahjustloves
I have applied to the same program and unlike ubc where it tells you what to send for Kwantlent you have to send your high school transcripts and transcripts from UBC and any other post secondary you have taken coorifice or attended.
good luck
Thanks everyone! That really helps.
I have heard from them now and submitted all my relevant transcripts, now time to wait and see :)
Also to answer your question @babyfriendly I only applied to Kwantlen. I did my undergrad at UBC but they have a December 1st deadline to start new applications for the following year and I missed that. If I do not get in I will likely apply to the BCIT January intake - I was just hoping to avoid 3 more full years of school.
How do I find that? I am new here and the navigation is still a bit unclear to me

Hey I've applied as well!
Looks like they are accredited and running: http://www.casn.ca/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/2015-16-Season_Winter_ENG-FR_Accredited-Canadian-Nursing-Education-Programs.pdf.
However on Kwantlen website it says the 4 yr Kwantlen program is recognized by both CASN and CRNBC but the PB recognized only by CRNBC? :S
I've been accepted to Langara Nursing...anyone else debating this program over another?
