Kingsborough Fall 2014 Clinical Applicants!

Who else is taking the NLN this coming monday/tuesday at kingsborough? What are everyone's thoughts of science 25?? Any concerns, comments, questions please feel free to discuss them here. Future applicants feel free to ask any questions, too!

Cant wait until clinicals! Currently have a 3.97 prereq GPA, completed all prereqs except for bio 51. All A's, aside from sci 25 with an A-

You are given your schedule, I think you are allowed to switch schedules with another student (if the dept is still allowing it, but it has to be okay'd first) if need be. For instance my 1st semester I checked off on my application paper (you will get this in a packet if you are accepted) to be a night student. So my schedule was Monday 12:40-1:40 nur17 / 1:50-9pm nur18, Tuesday was my clinical from 4-11pm, Wednesday nur18 1:50-4:50pm

Hm, I'll be taking Bio 12 along with my clinicals in the fall. Would you know if they work with you to fit everything together?

I think it'd be easier to work bio 12 (or whichever prereq) around your given clinical schedule

Thanks! Was totally unexpected. On the letter it says must be bls certified before starting. Do we complete that on our own or does the school offer it somewhere? How long does it take?

You have to do it on your own, I got this list from the school.

I used Tropper CPR she does it out of her house, you get the card as soon as the class is done
