I haven't seen a thread for those of us applying to KSU'S ABSN (or even traditional) program and thought I would start one. I am taking the TEAS pretty late (early January) and will have most of my pre-reqs done by December, but I'm pretty nervous. I have around a 3.5 from my bachelors degree at UGA and will probably end up with around the same in pre-reqs. It seems pretty competitive so not sure of my chances! Hope I can blow the TEAS out of the water. :)
If I did my researching correctly on here, applicants were hearing pretty late last year, like late April and May. I hope they can end the suspense a little earlier this year!
I decided to apply for the GRU CNL program instead of this one. If I don't get in to that, I'll look to start Kennesaw in the January 2015 cohort. Best of luck to everyone!
Hi guys :) I'm applying for the Traditional BSN for Fall 2014 as well. I just took the TEAs on 1/10 and submitted my application. It's crazy that the interviews are now a thing of the past!
I'm worried about how they will do their decision making since they got rid of the interviews. Unfortunately, I didn't do any better on my teas yesterday. I actually got about the same score as the first time. I hope my stats are high enough for the competition though.
I've heard that it is pretty much just going to be based off stats now. I wonder what the reasoning behind removing the interviews is...maybe because so many people apply?
Hi Everyone! I was also accepted into the spring nursing program but didn't complete my chemistry so I was also deferred to the fall. I was very disappointed but I realize now it worked out for the better! Good luck to everyone and I know it's late but if anyone needs a TEAS study book you can have mine.
Hi Joanna! Congrats on getting accepted to the program! Do you mind sharing your stats with us? I want to have a good idea of where I stand with students who have been accepted.
I have a 4.0 pre-req GPA, 3.8 overall GPA, and 93 on the TEAs. Here's hopin!
Wow! Those are awesome stats! You will get in no problem. I have a 3.77 overall, 3.8 math and sciences, and 84 on the teas. I hope I have a chance, but I applied to other schools just in case.
Heyy yall! my name is emma and im applying for the fall 2014 traditional BSN! this is my 3rd time applying. It has been such a learning process!! I have a 3.7 and got an 81 on my teas! Since i ran out of classes and have retaken classes, im currently in patho!! Keeping my fingers crossed this time!!
