Hi guys!

I know I'm not the only one out there who has applied for KSU's BSN program for next spring. Anyone else anxiously waiting to hear about interviews? The application deadline was May 31 and I applied for the traditional program. Looking forward to hearing from you! :)

If there are Summer programs, most likely the deadline has passed.

So I emailed Fran this morning and asked her about the emails and letters. She told me that I GOT IN!!! She said that some of the emails came back undeliverable. So, maybe yall should email her. I thought for sure that I wasn't accepted so don't give up yet!

Blueyes... I am sooooooo happy for you. Your hard work has been paid off. I wish you all the best with the program. Now you can relax and enjoy the Fall/Winter/Spring and /Summer.:yeah:

I just emailed Fran and let's see. If I get in great and if I don't I'll try again. That's all I could do. Thanks for the information.

may i inquire what is your gpa and teas test score? i tried calling/emailing fran, but i always have gotten no response or she didnt answer her phone calls.

I got an email from Fran and she told me I was slighly below the selection group. My TEAs score lowered my rank down.I had 81.2. So I am meeting with her in a couple of weeks to plan more. She wrote a very encouraging email and so I feel a bit better. I didn't apply anywhere else and now I will start to do that too.

Anyway, I am very happy for all those who have been accepted and wish them luck. For those who haven't been, please remember this is not an easy school to get in and to be interviewed is just a lil away from selection. Lets fix what is needed and move on. Keep your hopes high, stay positive and be happy. Hope to start next Fall with you all.

Thank you everyone for the congrats! This was my second attempt to get in. My gpa is a 3.34. I took the TEAS test three times. The first time I took it I made a 76 and the second a 78. Finally this third time I made a 85.6. So this was not an easy process. I really didn't think they would let me in bc of my gpa being lower and bc I had taken the test three times, but I'm happy they are giving me a chance. DONT GIVE UP!! As you can see, you don't have to have the best of everything to get in. I have faith that when the time is right it will happen. Good luck to everyone!

I love your optimism, Pijju! Just keep trying and you will definitely be a nurse soon! I'm glad Fran gave you an encouraging email and now you have things to focus on. I certainly wish you the best!

Just got the contract and acceptance letter in the mail. A fellow student mentioned to me that it might be smart to hand deliver it back to Fran so that's what I'm doing next week (& keep a copy for my files).

Did you make an appointment with Fran to drop off your contract or did you just stop by her office? I want to hand mine into her sometime this week as well.

I went by her office in the new bldg. y-day.....her door was open but she was on the phone so I just handed it to her.
