Hi guys!
I know I'm not the only one out there who has applied for KSU's BSN program for next spring. Anyone else anxiously waiting to hear about interviews? The application deadline was May 31 and I applied for the traditional program. Looking forward to hearing from you! :)
i also did not get an email. i talked to this one girl who got in for this spring, and she said there were 61 other students for the acceptance emails. i know for fall there were 65 people accepted, so i dont know if they lowered the number for accepting, or they havent decided on the other 4 people yet.
Well I applied to the accelerated program and since I didn't receive an email, I guess I didn't get in again. Seriously I feel like I have been trying forever to get in and it is not worth it, but this was my second attempt. I am not sure what I have to do to get in. I have all A's in my pre-reqs, my TEAS was 87. I have a bachelor's in health service mgmt, and a Master's in Health Education. I guess I did terrible on the interview, I felt like I was rushed in and rushed out. I have reapplied for the Summer, I kinda of knew I wasn't going to get in, and then that's it! I've had enough of KSU. I am starting to think a BSN is over-rated at this point in my life, an ASN will be just fine. Any thoughts?
Hey aashleno
I am in the same boat with a master in microbiology and because of all the hig end courses I had to take in my graduation I have a GPA of 3.35. I have no idea why is that not even a consideration.Well, I also a GRE of 1260 and I am applying at Emory's BSN-MSN. I was relying too much on KSU since it's very close to home and I have 3 young children. I guess I'd be better off travelling some distance now.
ASN is alos a consideration and I am applying at Chat. Tech and GPC. I dont see a problem after that bridging a course for BSN and moreover some places offer them online. Go for it. :)
