i just finished my interview!!! ahh~~!!! im ready to get my decision. hopefully its not too far from now so i can plan out my living and work situation soon.

How'd it go?!? I forgot to mention I e-mailed Fran and this time she said they're accepting 95/150 students. That's not bad eh? And wait for it...they will be mailing letters out the 9th and 10th! YAY!

Good luck everyone! :up: I was just on a non-nursing board and someone one there was raving about KSU students, she said they were the best (new)nurses in the Atlanta area.

I am a graduate from the KSU accelerated nursing program. I started Spring 2007 and finished May 2008- very tedious and busy but rewarding at the same time. I initially had been denied entry despite having got my first degree from KSU. Persistence is important and that is what got me into the program when they had one slot remaining that was given to me. I did not turn back, graduated with honors, passed all my ATI exams and passed my boards first time around in August. Bottom line, do not give up!!! It is well worth it.

I emailed sandi pitts and she told me that they had not scheduled the final meeting yet so the date of the mailing has not been determined. I hope that you're right about them sending out the decisions by the 9th or 10th. I need to plan things around my decision so the sooner is better. Let me know when you hear anything from them.

I don't want to be a party pooper here but I can assure you that their estimate is often a bit...off. I had my interview in March and I was told three weeks which would have been the beginning of April. I got my letter towards the 21st or 22nd if I recall correctly. I even called and someone said they would be mailing them out today (about 10 days before it actually happened)

I would have gone ballistic if someone hadn't told me that a delay is not uncommon. Its kind of a bummer but at least its the end of a process, soon you will know one way or the other!

Hey Everyone,

I've been reading and following along with these posts since I also interviewed last week for Spring Admission. I emailed Fran yesterday and she said that they had the final meeting scheduled for Monday the 8th and that letters would go out on either Tues or Wed.

Now I know that things can and do change...but hopefully they will stick to that schedule. The longer they wait, the more of a chance that applicants will get accepted to other schools since most people apply to more than one school. Hopefully, we will hear next week. Good Luck to everyone!

The committee had their final meeting yesterday in the afternoon! That means we should hear from them soon. O man! this is it...the DECISION! good luck to all you out there that got interviewed!

Thanks for the update...I was just about to ask if anyone had any updates to see if they stuck to their schedule. So we should get letters by end of week...hopefully!! How nerve racking. Best of luck and just remember, even if you get a letter stating you didn't get in...they have a waiting list. Sandi told me that lots of people opt out for a number of reasons and they have had to call people up once classes already started to take their places.

I'm saying prayers for all of us! Good Luck!

I just called one of the secretaries and the letters are only being mailed out TODAY!!!! UGH! I have been waiting by the mailbox alllll week, lol. :banghead::banghead:
