I have applied to the accelerated program for the Spring 2009 semester. Does anyone know when they let you know about your acceptance...or when you can interview for a spot?

hey latitude i also went through an interview with them and had less than an 80 on the teas. if you dont mind can i ask you what yr grades r in the top 7? how do you think u did in the interview?

Well, i have one B and all As, frankly am not too confident about the interview, for some very strange reason i got soo nervous, i guess i wanted it too bad, am too an LPN and that was the only thing that impressed them, but will let you know if am in or not when i get my letter

Well...they don't exactly heap praise on you do they? I remember thinking that they played it real cool when I was finished. I felt confident that I gave well put together answers but I had no idea what they thought!

Keep in mind that different people do the interviews on different days so they can't really say anything because they don't even get to make the decisions when its all said and done!

well my grades are 2A's 5B's, not too great, but i know someone who made it in with all B's..but she made 92/teas...I feel good about my interview but not my grades.....I was only able to mention that i shadowed a nurse at piedmont but 4got to mention that i worked at a pharmacy for a yr....u definitely have the heads up with the experience...were u interviewed by the 3 ladies? 1blonde,1 curly burnette/glasses, and another short hair but straight haired lady with glasses? i made them laugh, which made me feel good...i wasnt nervous, but my grades dont compare to yours so we both are a bit weary.....:cry:

Did any of y'all that applied for the Spring 2009 get chosen from the standby list? I hope some of us got lucky enough to be chosen.

School started on the 8th, so I'd give it one more week or so if you're on the standby list. After that, I don't think there'll be a big chance of very many people dropping out. We don't have any exams/quizzes until middle-Feb so people can't go by how they do on the first one, either.
