Nursing Students SRNA

I have applied to Keiser University CRNA program in Naples, FL for 2019.. anyone else planning to or already applied there for 2019? Anyone starting in January 2019? Please do not comment about the school being a "last resort" school as seen in past threads and posts. This thread is intended solely for current and future applicants applying in 2019. If you had interviewed at Keiser before, please provide some insights.

Not sure what fort Myers apartments are going for, but usually they are cheaper. But school is in Naples and depending on what time classes are, it might just be worth spending more money to live in Naples. The interstate can really suck in general, but especially during rush hour and season. Any accident causes long delays.

Yes I agree a 100% with you. Everyone who lives in Fort Myers in my class complains about traffic and sometimes have to rush out to try to beat traffic. It's much cheaper there as far as apartment. But think about gas money as well. Get ready, naples everything is expensive. Bunch of millionaires here so go figure. You'll get to see bentleys, ferraris, corvettes on a daily basis here. just FIY lol

Can anyone tell me When does the September term starts? And if they are done interviewing and accepting for it?

The Sept term 2019 starts SEPT 3rd

I do not know if they r accepting any more apps

I was told that the committee is meeting next week to review applications for potential interviews for January cohort.

Anyone heard back yet? I'm not sure whether I should apply

Can Anyone already in the program give some insight regarding Financial aids. Do they give you enough to cover the payment for each semesters? Does the school offers scholarships? Thanks

To all those who are accepted into the January 2020 class, I will have a 2 bed/2 bath apartment available to rent beginning January to take over my current lease until 3/19/20 with the option to extend however long needed. I originally signed a 15 month lease thinking I was going to do my clinical rotation in Naples, but have decided to go to Tampa. Also, the new Keiser campus being built for the program in Naples will be down the street making this an ideal location for future students. It’s a top floor unit, screened in porch, French doors to master bedroom, ceiling fans, new shower heads, laundry room, and granite finishes. I have used the second bedroom as an office. Apartment is very quiet and conducive for studying. Complex amenities include gym, grill and tv area, fire pit, fenced in dog area, pool with cabanas, large clubhouse with coffee, iMacs, and TVs. I have pictures of specific unit if interested. $1498 rent. Thanks!

Hi Cbmarsh32,

I would be interested in your apartment. I did apply for the January 2020 cohort. I am waiting to hear back from the University that's the only contingency.

FutureSNA12020-Good luck! My email is [email protected], keep in touch and let me know how everything turns out, its been a great apartment!

Hey, to anyone who applied and got accepted from Keiser. How long did it take to hear back from them? Also, has anyone been accepted for August 2020?

Hello, there is a new thread for the 2020 school year for Keiser. You may want to be following that thread. It seems that people have usually found out within a couple weeks of their application being reviewed. Typically offered an interview 1-2 months out. Typically, received acceptance letter within a week of interview. Not sure of anyone has been accepted for that date. They just started their Sept 2019 cohort and are beginning to admit students for their Jan 2020 cohort.

For those currently attending the program:

I've recently relocated to SWF, and have been waitlisted for admissions to FGCU (?). The person I shadowed prior to beginning this application process was a big fan of Wolford (#1) until they interviewed, deciding that they just weren't a good fit for various reasons including pass rates, attrition rates, and the feeling they were accepting anyone who qualified ($$).

I've read so many mixed reviews, in which I haven't found the concise answers that I am looking for. It appears Keiser has adopted the formerly known Wolford College CRNA program. What's changed? I'm fearful they're only retaining the bad reputation, however, also cautious because of it.

Can anyone elaborate further on their experience(s) or even provide insight on the improvements that should or would exclude Keiser from maintaining the former reputation of Wolford? Do you feel that you've chosen the right program? Do you believe you are or will be receiving an abundance of opportunity clinically? Any information or experiences you'd like to share would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance ❤️
