I have applied to Keiser University CRNA program in Naples, FL for 2019.. anyone else planning to or already applied there for 2019? Anyone starting in January 2019? Please do not comment about the school being a "last resort" school as seen in past threads and posts. This thread is intended solely for current and future applicants applying in 2019. If you had interviewed at Keiser before, please provide some insights.

How much free time you have depends on you. Some people have more than others. But you need to have your priorities straight and make sure that school comes first. One of our teachers told us the very first day that you will not get by in this program by being smart alone. You will have to study. A lot.

annieRNmurph,
God didn’t bring you this far for nothing! You will make it with your precious baby. If the schedule remains the same you will have plenty of time with the baby.

While in the didactic part, you follow the Keiser calendar. It’s actually a week between semesters with ~2 weeks over Christmas/New Year. Once clinical starts, it’s whatever and whenever.
Hey you all, I'm about to start third semester in september. Gathering bunch of stuff I found helpful during my first 2 semesters and with a bunch of other classmates plan to summarize them on a page for SRNAs to share tips and tricks on facebook. Its "SRNA Anesthesia tips". Check it out if interested and like and follow to see new updates. Hopefully we can help each other out.

Hey there. My colleague interviewed on Monday and got an offer on Friday. He said he wasn't sure how many spots were left. I'd recommend just calling the admissions office and asking if there's any spots still.

We have not lost any students yet , which is awesome and I pray for my classmates every day ?. Class tests average is usually above 85%. A 90 or above is an A here. Last semester out of 5 classes I had one B and all As. This semester I anticipate all As. Most classes grading criteria include about 3-4 exams and one presentation/ case study which is usually about 10-20% of your grade. Many students get As here and it’s really more common than unheard of. However you have to study hard, and it’s nice that a 90 is an A but if you get 89.99, it’s a B and they won’t round it up.
First semester my schedule was Tuesday-Thursday. This semester Monday- Thursday but we get out real early Wednesdays and Thursdays (usually before 11am ) It may change 3rd semester, which starts in september, hopefully I know soon. But you’ll have plenty of time to study and you will need that time to do just that.
