I have applied to Keiser University CRNA program in Naples, FL for 2019.. anyone else planning to or already applied there for 2019? Anyone starting in January 2019? Please do not comment about the school being a "last resort" school as seen in past threads and posts. This thread is intended solely for current and future applicants applying in 2019. If you had interviewed at Keiser before, please provide some insights.

A 90 or above is an A here. Last semester out of 5 classes I had one B and all As. This semester I anticipate all As. Most classes grading criteria include about 3-4 exams and one presentation/ case study which is usually about 10-20% of your grade. Many students get As here and it’s really more common than unheard of. However you have to study hard, and it’s nice that a 90 is an A but if you get 89.99, it’s a B and they won’t round it up.
First semester my schedule was Tuesday-Thursday. This semester Monday- Thursday but we get out real early Wednesdays and Thursdays (usually before 11am ) It may change 3rd semester, which starts in september, hopefully I know soon. But you’ll have plenty of time to study and you will need that time to do just that.
CRNAdegSeeker,
Do you have any recommendations for apartments in Naples? Nothing too expensive… Thank you in advance
BellaICU
I have lived here for the past 15 years. It depends on your price range. Most of the nicer apartments in Naples have become expensive, around $1200-1500/month for a one bedroom. Might be more financially beneficial to seek out a classmate that can be your roommate to split bills. I know certain places have short term contracts as well that you could try out and then switch to the roommate route. I wonder if the school offers suggestions for housing and if so, what they suggest.

fljoshua321,
Thank you for the insight. I definitely don’t want to pay $1200/ especially I won’t be working. Send some names of apartments that you know of.
Thank you,

Hey BellaICU thats the reason I am looking for a place at Ft Myers ; I am finding 3 bedroom houses for 1800 or lesser
Not sure what fort Myers apartments are going for, but usually they are cheaper. But school is in Naples and depending on what time classes are, it might just be worth spending more money to live in Naples. The interstate can really suck in general, but especially during rush hour and season. Any accident causes long delays.
