Hi everyone! So, I was just wondering if any of you guys know my chances in getting in the ADN program at KCC. I'm applying for Fall of 2014 and to be honest, I'm not really confident about my application... Just thinking about applying makes me nervous just because I know how competitive it is. Also, if you guys think applying for the PRCN program for KCC is a good idea also. Please let me know, thank you guys so much!

Kayla, I don't think u need to make another account, it should be worked out when u register for the test. I would double check with whoever you are taking the test with though :)
Mmtangi, I took Dunn online at kcc last semester for 142, and only got a C. It's more of the subject matter that was difficult for me though, and taking that class online is a bit tough. I just studied his PowerPoint slides that he uploaded, the tests were pretty much from those. I didn't put in as much as effort as I should have, resulting in my C lol. I really wanted to take Shook in person. I had her for 141 and she's more of an "easier A" because she made chapter outlines. If u remember everything that are on those outlines, u will get an A on tests. She is straight forward and friendly, and she's excited about the topic. She also had group case studies during class, but those were straightforward too. As long as u participated there is no reason to not get an A on those.
I took the lab online with Dunn- he had us mark on the laulima calendar when we were going to take the lab so that people could all go at the same time to do the lab together if we wanted to. He had us turn in lab reports too, pretty much of the results with pictures of our charts and whatnot. I think they were due within 2 weeks of the lab... The labs were lengthy but only because of all of the instructions and set up. It was easy to mess up if you are doing it by yourself, but the lab assistants there help a bit. The tests are easy if you completed the labs, and he tells you what pictures from that online interactive page & book you need to study
Hello mmtangi, are you going for LPN or ADN program? I am currently taking DUnn's class both lab and lecture. . lab exams and quizzes are easy. lecture exams are hard. I recommend reading the chapters at least 5 times before the exam if you have time. At first, i made flashcards, but later on i got tired doing it since there is so much to read and write. Just make sure you read and understand everything. if you need help with something, email him during weekdays, he responds right away. youtube also helped me a lot. you should try that too.

Hi! I liked Ronald Dunn for 142 :) He is a tough teacher, but this is also a tough subject. The way he teaches makes it kind of easy to understand :) you will have to work for that "A" though
