Hi everyone. Iam looking into the kaplan college in sacramento lvn program that starts in october. I went for the tour already and passed the first test. What i was wondering was does anyone have any thoughts on this school? are you currently attending this class? how are the teachers what type of finacial aid do they have? any info would be greatly appreciated. also i was looking at csi college in vacaville anything on that school would be helpful too.
I guess when we call the Director of Admissions, she'll let us know.....may be it's all the financial aid stuff and a drug test that's left...but you never know, could be more...lol...and may be I was told "pre-acceptance" coz' I'm on the alternate list?!? lol...I hope not, though! Let's see....waiting for that letter now....ugh!!
Dupek1974---I don't have any paid direct patient care experience BUT I've worked for three different doctors as a receptionist/back office and I completed a three semester CNA program in my high school (which included CNA clinicals) but never worked as one....and I have a fair amount of volunteer experience in the hospitals but it was all when I was in high school like 5 years ago....and I also do have all my pre-reqs for the RN program, well, actually I have a B.S degree. Hope that helped :)
She said that to me too. I just thought they said that due to us passing the drug test and whatnot. I hope we aren't alts... Hey did anyone else get that same line? "pre-acceptance" wow now I'm wondering.
Ashlie - What you said about the drug screen makes a lot of sense. They may send an official one after the drug screen with orientation information and other instructions. I am very curious of how this pre-acceptance letter is written. Can someone please share when they receive it? Congrats to all of you!
Ok ladies, you can relax. We are in, no I didn't get the letter today but called to make sure of my correct address since I did give them an address change awhile ago. It is conditional acceptance, but it means you call to set up enrollment when you get your letter, and get whatever paperwork if you still need a drug test, physical, etc, that stuff. So be patient! I was told Monday at the latest for a letter.
