Hi everyone. Iam looking into the kaplan college in sacramento lvn program that starts in october. I went for the tour already and passed the first test. What i was wondering was does anyone have any thoughts on this school? are you currently attending this class? how are the teachers what type of finacial aid do they have? any info would be greatly appreciated. also i was looking at csi college in vacaville anything on that school would be helpful too.
No letter here either . I did call my rep. though asking her what all this pre-acceptance deal is.....she said that she doesn't know what the letter says so she can't say anything and when I do get the letter I'll come to know....well duh...but who wants to wait till the letter...lol...and she also said that some letters were sent on friday (I feel bad for these people since they'll have to wait more......ohhh I hope I'm not one of them lol) so wait till tuesday at least.....now, let's see...hopefully all goes in a well planned and organized manner coz' there isn't much time left
......oh by the way guys, does anyone of you have a current CPR certification? We have to have it before the program begins, right?!
Idk about having to have one before the program. I heard that that would included into the tuition. But I have mine already due to the fact I'm a medical asst. Geez wait till Tuesday? I feel short changed. You guys all seem to always get intouch with your rep. Mine is NEVER available!!! Lol. There is only three weeks till school starts and no one has gotten letters or know how much the final price is and random things are "unknown" I feel like we are going to a surprise party!!!
the stockton campus isn't anymore forthcoming about information. school is supposed to start on nov 9th (changed from nov 2nd), and here we are on october 18th, and still no final word.
why they're waiting so long to interview/notify/finalize the process is annoying. it doesn't allow us much time to prep. apparently they are making their final selections as we speak.
they had a first round of interviews witht the DON when I was on vacation and will be holding another set soon, but when is unknown as of last friday.
I was told I was a "solid candidate" - my test scores are high, my first interview went real well, I have a medical background, etc...I'm pretty confident that I'll be accepted.
but the financial aid thing is what I'm concerned about. w/o it, I can't afford to go to school. $27k is not exactly pocket change for me.
ok so i called the school to see if they had my right addy and they do but then they said that they had some letters sent back due to postage problems!!!!! so the will resend them this week!!!! idk if mine was one of them.... grrrrrrrrr. i left a message for my rep hopefully she'll call me back because i need to give my job thier two week notice(we only have three wks till start date).
