Hi All,
I am curious as to what a competitive applicant has for an ATI TEAS score, GPA, prereqs. I understand the minimum TEAS was 78, but it has been temporarily lowered to 65.
Obviously, the higher the scores the better, but what does an average accepted applicant's scores look like?
What is a solid TEAS score for acceptance, do I have to score in the 90s or are scores in 70s adequate?
Do most selectees earn A's on their Zoology and MICR, or are B's competitive? Essentially, I am wondering if I should fork out additional money to retake the zoology classes to raise the B's to A's or is that an unwise use of tight funds?
Any guidance is appreciated.
My experience with the Pharm class was with LCC. It was stupid easy, i honestly did not learn a thing and i know that i will be kicking myself come the program. I do know that if you take the class from KCC they take that into consideration for applicants because it is a much harder course. The one from Maui my friend took and said it was an easy A as well. So if your lookin for easy go online. I wish i would have taken KCC course, im paying to learn, not get an easy A=)
This waiting around is getting old!
Is anyone still going to the orientation tomorrow?

I took PHRM 203 at LCC. Most of the information that I saw on the exams were drug classifications, mechanism of action, and names. The professor also covered drug interactions in the exams. Not a lot of emphasis was put on the half-lives and how to calculate. I guess it's because there's a separate and more specific pharmacology class for nursing students, which is probably set in the later semesters. I was on track for an A in the class but I totally slipped up and forgot about the FINAL exam. I still got a high (88%) B, but LCC doesn't account for +/-'s. Well, that's one class that I don't have to worry about :) I highly suggest taking the LCC online class because the midterm-exams were very easy to ace. Just make sure you don't forget about the FINAL one.
