Kaiser Permanente New Grad Interview

Published

Hello, I have an interview with Kaiser Permanente San Diego for a new grad position (no specific unit - have to reapply to a unit after training). I was wondering what types of questions they ask - behavioral? clinical? both? Any input would be awesome. Thank you!

Awesome! Good luck! I've read on Facebook that they're looking to hire 12 new grads. I wonder how many internals are interviewing.

Hi jayecrew! So I know it has been a pretty long time from your original post, but I am scheduled for my panel interview at Kaiser SD in a couple weeks and I was wondering if you had any advice for me?! I would appreciate anything you have to offer. Thank you!

Ah, sorry I just realized my last post was misleading... It was just a call for a phone interviewfor Kaiser SD. Although to be honest, I'd much prefer it be a call with an offer!

If you don't mind me asking, what is the hourly pay for RN's in SD at Kaiser?

For Kaiser, do you apply to separate facilities, eg. Sunset, Woodland Hills, Pan City? Also, what units/specialties hire new grads?

Hourly pay for a BSN is $42!

Yes. You would have to apply to different facilities. Basically for each job posting.

What specialties do they take new grads in? med-surg, tele, ICU? how about OR?

@fergu032, that's for experienced BSN?

Thank you! It was about 30 minutes and I'll be starting in med-surg. Message me if you want to know what they asked in the interview! I remember most of the questions haha. And good luck to you!! They never told us the job market was harsh out there, but just keep going! You'll find the right job for you!

Hi Jayecrew,

Please share possible interview questions you were asked at Kaiser. I have an interview coming up soon. TIA :)

Hi Jayecrew. How can I message you? Thanks in advance!
