Hello everyone! I didn't see this topic on the forum, so I'll create this for anyone else who is planning to apply to Kaiser's New Residency Program. Good luck!!

I believe it is a preferred but better to have one! (Since they specifically mentioned it and something I found after applying/interviewing with other NorCal RN Residency programs is that they are super competitive. So it will definitely look better on your resume ?

Has anyone received the career snapshot or any emails at all from Kaiser? I remember they said they'll send this out on 2/13 to everyone that applied on.

Hello, I received my email at 11:30 this morning. My fellow classmate from nursing school still hasn't received hers yet. Is anyone in here an internal applicant as well?

I got mine around 12PM today!

Their powerpoint presentation stated that interviews will be sent out between 2/23-3/3

I didn't see a section to put our preferences for specialty units/medsurge/telemetry on the career snapshot.

Did I miss it or do we input our preferences somewhere else?

I didn't see a place to rank preferences either. I'm not sure if we were supposed to since the main units are med/surg - telemetry.

Usually Kaiser New grads train in Med/Surg and Tele units first before going to specialty (After at least 1 year). I believe specialties are offered very rare cases

In the Webinar they said this was the first time they would be offering limited positions in ICU, L&D, and OR if there were spots available. They said "candidates will indicate preferences and position details will be identified at time of offer." I'm just wondering when/where we indicate preferences

Has anyone not yet received the career snapshot request? I know we have until Wednesday but it seems like you're all working on it and Im wondering if they're sending it in waves or something
