Kaiser NorCal New Grad Residency 2023 (Spring Cohort 5)

Hello everyone! I didn't see this topic on the forum, so I'll create this for anyone else who is planning to apply to Kaiser's New Residency Program. Good luck!!

Thanks for making the forum! Good luck!

Hello! does anyone know if there needs to be a specific place we need to do our EKG class at? Or does it not matter?

I don't think it matters. Someone asked during the webinar and the answer was "wherever you learn the best."

Job code is up! But the listing isn't on the careers website yet :’) anxiously refreshing my browser every five minutes LOL

Good luck everyone! Just to check- did anyone get a confirmation email after submitting their application or are we just waiting for the next email that is supposed to come in a few days?

I didn't receive a confirmation either but I don't think we will get one cause I've applied to other jobs there before and never got one

For the EKG class, is that something we need to have before applying?

I didn't get a confirmation, but look out for a career snapshot email! It should be sent after the application closes.

Do a lot of you have KP experience? I do not, not sure how much that effects decision processing?

It looks better for your application, I plan on taking one to fill out in the career snapshot.. hopefully, if I can find one/finish on time!

I don't have KP experience, but I think it gives a few points maybe? It wouldn't be the only deciding factor for sure.
