Hello everyone! I didn't see this topic on the forum, so I'll create this for anyone else who is planning to apply to Kaiser's New Residency Program. Good luck!!

Day 7am-3:30pm, eve 3pm-11:30pm, night 11pm-7:30am the schedule is 72 hours every 2 weeks the greyed out days were "in service" days where we did modules from home the first couple weeks. Then they organize training sessions at your kaiser locations depending on the week (neuro, resp, etc)

This is perfect. Thank you so much for sharing! Do they give you this entire schedule before starting?

They finalized it like first/second week for us and gave it to us during one of our inservice days

Hi everyone!
I interviewed for cohort 7 (Roseville location) this past Tuesday! I wanted to reach out to see who also got into Roseville. It's the only hospital I applied for and I'm a bit nervous since everyone seemed to have went with the group hospitals option.
I live in socal and have been looking at apartments to move into in Sacramento. During the interview, they asked me if I was moving in soon. I said yes. I'm hoping that my current location does not deter them from choosing me. I've been losing hope with my dream to moving to norcal because I feel like they don't like the fact that im not nearby yet.
Has anyone from the Kaiser residency groups been in my situation? In terms of relocation?
We're suppose to receive a soft offer on the week of 9/11 and I am so nervous. I really really really want this job. I just have no idea how many people are being hired for Roseville.

Hello everyone,
I am apart of cohort 6 and I was wondering how does the scheduling work with 2 preceptors? Can anyone shed some light on how scheduling goes with your preceptors?
another question, was the NEO online and you can access from home or did you have to go to your site?
any info will be helpful! TIA

Hi! I don't know if this is still active or if people are checking, but I was wondering if anyone who is in this cohort currently can give insight on how they place us into the "permanent awarded position". How do they determine who gets what hours if there are various pm/noc or hrs available.
thanks!

After orientation on July 22nd, did you guys work independently right away? How did that work for you guys?

Yup!
Your next shift after that final orient shift you're officially solo and on your official assigned working schedule/days

Awesome thanks! Do you have an example of that your schedule was for being solo?
