Kaiser NorCal Nurse Residency Fall 2023 Cohort 6

Hello everyone! I just wanted to create this for all those interested in the Kaiser Nurse Residency for new grads that has a start date of 9/11/2023. Also thought I would post the timeline below to help with any questions about when the next steps are taking place (per their webinar).

5/31-6/7: Application open

6/8-6/11: Candidate Survey (Snapshot)

6/20-6/30: Group Interviews

7/12: Hiring Decisions

7/17-7/26: HR Offer Days

7/31-9/8: HR Checks

9/11: Program Start

Definitely no promises on the accuracy, but this nurse YouTuber compared the Stanford and Kaiser contracts and coincidentally it shows the new grad Kaiser pay as 72 and change. He is a Kaiser nurse, so I'd like to believe their may be truth behind it.

thanks for the info! Stanford according to their info session is $81.68 right now I believe!

Oh nice! When I applied, I saw 77.80, so even better LOL

Yes I saw the same posted on the site, if you watch the actual video they had the $81! Did you also apply to stanford? 🙂

I did! I'm one of the ones still waiting, but you got an interview for trials, right? That's awesome!

Yes ! I am super nervous, I am sure you will hear back soon! there is plenty of time left. Personally was hoping to get ICU, but I am excited about the Research and Trials position, seems like it will be different. Are you from the area?

I also applied! Per the Kaiser Info session, $72 and some change is the starting rate 

 

out of curiosity, are you guys applying to other jobs?

Thank you for starting!  And the timeline is super helpful at the start of the thread 🙂. Wishing everyone luck!  I also applied to Stanford but haven't heard back yet 🥲. I do love a solid hour + away from Stanford though ...
