Hello everyone! I just wanted to create this for all those interested in the Kaiser Nurse Residency for new grads that has a start date of 9/11/2023. Also thought I would post the timeline below to help with any questions about when the next steps are taking place (per their webinar).

I recently submitted my career snapshot for Cohort 7 (Winter). I am waiting anxiously in hopes that I get the notification of an interview! I was looking at the rubric and everything for Kaiser. In the case that I do get the interview, what are your biggest tips in the presentation? I know it's 10 minutes and I have some ideas on how to approach it. But I think I'm just nervous because I tend to compare myself to other people. I did clinical rotations and my senior capstone at socal Kaiser so I'm hoping that helps me stand out? I don't know... I'm really just hoping.
The truck is really to be yourself and reheorifice your presentation like crazy! I have very little Kaiser clinical experience, but my presentation was well-reheorificed and so it came out naturally. I didn't just read my presentation, and I really tried to show who I was and my background. I also tried to make sure that I followed the rubric they offer for the presentation and that I was covering the highest point possibility that they show for each section. I also included the Kaiser mission statement but I "folded" it in to my presentation, rather than just stating their mission/values statement and claiming that I also align with those values. It seems way more authentic if you can do it in your own way ?. Also my presentation was only about 8 minutes, so don't think you have to use up the full ten minutes!!

In terms of decorating your ppt, can it be one of those Google slide templates? I'm really hoping I got an interview slot! I put Roseville as my top choice >.< I hope everything works out! Would love to work for Kaiser!
Hi! I don't know if this is still active or if people are checking, but I was wondering if anyone who is in this cohort currently can give insight on how they place us into the "permanent awarded position". How do they determine who gets what hours if there are various pm/noc or hrs available.
thanks!
Hi everyone! I recall during my interview the hub coordinator giving us advice at the end if we were hired and stated that there is a ECG/EKG interpretation quiz we have to pass before we start the program, and we get 3 chances to pass it. I also have yet to receive my ECG/EKG interpretation certification (one that is to Kaiser's standard, that is), so I am curious where you all received your certification and/or if any of you have a suggested website where I can sign up for a course. Thanks so much in advance!
