Hello everyone! I just wanted to create this for all those interested in the Kaiser Nurse Residency for new grads that has a start date of 9/11/2023. Also thought I would post the timeline below to help with any questions about when the next steps are taking place (per their webinar).
5/31-6/7: Application open
6/8-6/11: Candidate Survey (Snapshot)
6/20-6/30: Group Interviews
7/12: Hiring Decisions
7/17-7/26: HR Offer Days
7/31-9/8: HR Checks
9/11: Program Start
Hi all,
First of all, congratulations!
I am planning to apply Kaiser Nurse Residency cohort 7. I would like to have some advices about PowerPoint slides.
Can you share any tips for the PowerPoint? How many slides do we have? Do your PowerPoint slides have less words?
Thank you so much in advance.

This is from KP:
"There is no slide limit, and you do not need references. The intention of this presentation is to get to know you
better, and to have you share key insights to help us determine if you would be a good fit for our program."
"o Max presentation time is 10 minutes before you will be asked to stop to allow time for questions
o Practice your presentation! Have notes to help you. Rehearsal (or the lack of it) will be evident (practice with friends or family!)
o Do not read your PowerPoint – make sure that the presentation is more of a visual support for your answers
o Be careful to not make your slides or answers so complicated that you cannot answer the questions in the time allotted"
@Kendrer@e_RN Hi guys! I applied for the Cohort 6 and got into the final interviews but was not accepted. I have been super bummed every since receiving the email a few days ago but I know I can try again the next cycle. I practiced my PowerPoint numerous times and my speaking skills before attending the interview. I was wondering if I could get some advice from you guys maybe even share my powerpoint and see if you guys can just look at it or give me any type of advice? I want to apply to Cohort 7 and try again. I really want to get into this program. You can email me at [email protected]
I really appreciate it and CONGRATS TO YOU EVERYONE WHO GOT IN!!
Hi,
I started a FB group for Kaiser NorCal Cohort 6 (not sure if there is a forum already made for this group):

I am feeling the same way, I practiced my presentation so much and did not make it. I have also been super bummed the last few days. If anyone would like to share their presentation or give me any advise please feel free to do so. You can email me at [email protected]. It's so hard to keep my spirits up, but there is always the next cohort I guess.
