Hi everyone! I am a part of Cohort 8 and wanted to let everyone know that I did not have any ECG certification or training when I applied and I was still selected to interview, and I just emphasized that I was going to get it done before my start date. The ECG class I took was all online and very informative, and it is approved by the AHA as well. My one piece of advice is to NOT talk about info on your resume because they already have that! Talk about your experiences and try to make it as personal as possible. I talked about what inspired me to become a nurse, my clinical experience, and why I want to work at Kaiser specifically ( look at their mission statement and surf through their website).

I recall during my interview the hub coordinator giving us advice at the end if we were hired and stated that there is a ECG/EKG interpretation quiz we have to pass before we start the program, and we get 3 chances to pass it. I also have yet to receive my ECG/EKG interpretation certification (one that is to Kaiser's standard, that is), so I am curious where you all received your certification and/or if any of you have a suggested website where I can sign up for a course. Yes they do! I was snooping old cohorts forums and there were comments from people who stated they had gotten denied.

Anyone else interview for Richmond? I'm so curious how many openings they have for new grads to know my likelihood of being offered a position! Also, it's my understanding from the interview that we'd hear back between 12/4-12/7...did I get that wrong since I've seen other dates stated on this thread like hearing back by 12/22 which would be terrible since the wait is already killing me, LOL.
