Kaiser NorCal New Grad Residency 2023 (Spring Cohort 5)

Updated:   Published

Hello everyone! I didn't see this topic on the forum, so I'll create this for anyone else who is planning to apply to Kaiser's New Residency Program. Good luck!!

So amped to get that offer letter (HOPEFULLY) tomorrow!

I've been watching the "Nurses to Riches" channel on YouTube. Y'all, congrats! We lucked out like crazy starting off our nursing journey with Kaiser!! Sure, medsurg wasn't where I expected I'd get my first job but if it's with Kaiser then SURE! haha

any updates?

Hi does anyone know the starting pay for this Kaiser cohort 5 program?

Good luck to us!

What is the starting pay for this Kaiser new grad nurse program?

@Scrat - nope still haven't received anything yet

Here's the updated pay scale with the results from the strike. This link has the pay scale with adjusted rates, including the new strike raises up to 2026.

Since they said we are starting off in a Staff Nurse I position, I assume that means we'll be starting at 72.7953

I guess we aren't hearing from them today  ?

Was just thinking the same ??

Thank you

I wonder if the go down the list (priority to those that scored highest) and wait to see if they accept before going to the next person?  That way they can propose their "best offer"? Anyone know how it works?

Still curious to see how they deject people for L/D and ICU. If anyone got sn offer please share!

That's such a good point! Makes sense to start with the specialized positions, fill all those up, then mass email the rest with their med-surg offers.

Still no offer here either - can't help but refresh my email like every 30 mins haha

Hmmm.. not sure. Curious to know as well though! Haven't received an offer email yet either. I feel like that might take way too long if they're going one by one; they'll have to give everyone ample time to respond (ex. 48 hours).

longest week ever ?
