Kaiser New Grad 2012

My girlfriend's roommate got a call for an interview, she thinks she was a panel interview. Anyone else get called? This is for the Kaiser in the SF Valley area.

I got an email asking for my contact info and unit preference for Kaiser Woodland Hills but no email on info session dates.

Hi you guys! Ive been waiting for this thread! I also got an email just like yours, info and what unit for Kaiser Woodland Hills. No email on info session! How did you respond to the "what unit and why?" just one-liner stuff? So what unit did you choose? When did they email you? I was emailed just last monday!

I also applied for a new grad position but this one is for kaiser woodland hills. the recruiter sent out what looks like a generic email with dates for us to come in so they can give us more information about the program that is beginning in july. i think these are just info sessions though, not the actual interview. i have a co-worker who secured a spot in the new grad program at panorama city, and she said that she had to go through a panel and one-on-one interview before she was hired. GOOD LUCK TO US!

They emailed me this week too. Did write them back? You should asap. I said I preferred Med-surg.

i havent.. i thought we had to make an essay out of it so ive been preparing. But i will email them back today. when did you responded back? Have you heard anything at all? I chose medsurg too! I hope we make it... Its so nice to have someone to talk to!

I got that questionnaire/email early this week. My response was a paragraph or two. I then received a follow-up email with dates and times on when to come in so we can have a "brief meeting" regarding the program with the recruiter - just talked about when it will start (July), how long the orientation is, etc. Are we talking about the same program? Med-surg/perinatal/onco/peds/women's? I've been told that there's a possibility of another cohort for a later start date in August.

@missdia - yes, woodland hills. Maybe they'll schedule other meetings after the memorial day weekend.

@kv07 - I've worked as an LVN for 3 years at a clinic and my RN experience amounts to less than a month. I'm hoping that persistent applying will have positive results.

Hi! What unit did you choose? Are you from SF valley? It did say they're looking for a year's experience but they're all considering new grads..
