where has Praiser been?????? and, if any of you fellow school nurses have your files alphabetically instead of by class. Its seems to me to be a great idea, can't think of any cons cept the initail refiling........ any suggestions???? rdsxfnrn:lol2:

haven't seen praiser in a few weeks - perhaps bogged down with screenings...
my files are alphabetical by grade. No disadvantages there for me and easy transitions for the students moving onto the next school.

The nurse prior to me had them listed by homeroom. I switched to alphabetical by grade the first year. Makes it much easier for me.
thx for help :)

Hello rdsxfnrn,
I am here. Somehow I got kicked off my membership. Not sure why....but I finally found the time to get back on. I have missed everyone !! Thanks for your concern. Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving !

The first year I started, I followed the nurse before me and kept my files by grade/teacher. The next year, I filed them alpha by grade...much easier when looking for what I need.

Mine are filed by homeroom until screenings are done, then alpha. At the beginning of the year I pull cards by homeroom and anything leftover is filed in inactive. Then as I finish screening a class, I file it alphabetically until eventually the whole school is filed alpha (hope to have this done by Winter Break!)
