Hello all.
I just took my boards on yesterday (Feb 22, 2005) My computer shut off at 89. My very first question was a med calculation. I only had 1 math, 1 select all that apply, and all the rest were multiple choice. So my question to all of you is when do the tears stop falling? I feel like a failed. It was harder than I thought if thats even possible. I have heard from other people that the results can take up to 2 weeks. Well I hope this has helped anyone who is about to take the boards. Good luck to you all.

Try to think happy thoughts.....
I know...easier said than done.
Just remember that worrying about it and wondering and being stressed isn't going to change the results.
ugggh and you are from southern CA like me, so yes the boards are being VERY slow.... :angryfire
someone took 12 days to find out, and i am on day 7 now.....so try not to worry if you don't see your name pop up for awhile....
JUST REMEMBER!!! 85% of people who take it the first time PASS!!!!
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you,
I will take any and all encouragement. Oh and yes I have heard all the horror stories about how slow our BRN moves. I will do my best to stop all the crying and laying around in the fetal position LOL.
I will keep you posted. I pray it will be good news.
Thanks again,

Sorry you feel this way. I took the boards the same day you did, with 265 questions. I'm waiting too, but let's try to distract ourselves! Go out this weekend! Don't assume anything yet.. the way that test is set up is so unpredictable.. good luck!

I am also in the same boat, I had 75 and I feel like I failed miserably. I had 2-3 select all and one med calc but it was multiple choice. All the rest were mult. choice and I really don't know how to feel. I've been laying around sulking all day since I finished. Seriously though like PICURN said 85% pass right?? I guess all we can do is wait it out, the brn here is outrageously slow. I have friends who took it in HI and are getting results in 2days. What a relief that would be. Anyways, you all will be in my thoughts and prayers!! We made it this far right?
Thank you for the very kind words of support. I am so jealous of all those states that give out results within 2 days. :uhoh21: I am doing my best not to sit around and sulk. One of my classmates decided to drowned all her sorrows after her boards poishing off an entire bottle of wine LOL. Well you too are in my in thoughts and prayers. Please take care and keep me posted and remember...positive thoughts

I am beginning to think that 265 is the charm because everyone I know who got that many PASSED! You are in my thouhts and prayers. Yes, all of us will get through this together and I am sure we all did fine. After all we survived nursing school. Now we can do anything like a pass our boards. Good luck! Take care and keep in touch let me know how everything goes. :wink2:
