I just took my boards on yesterday (Feb 22, 2005) My computer shut off at 89. My very first question was a med calculation. I only had 1 math, 1 select all that apply, and all the rest were multiple choice. So my question to all of you is when do the tears stop falling? I feel like a failed. It was harder than I thought if thats even possible. I have heard from other people that the results can take up to 2 weeks. Well I hope this has helped anyone who is about to take the boards. Honestly I really don't know? God was definately on my side. I am shocked that i found out in just 3 days. I am still digesting the news. I keep checking the website to make sure they didn't make a mistake LOL!!
Jennifer my name is Ulices taking the Nclex soon, actually what you said that the questions were so hard, something that you did not review at all, or comprehension problems, sometimes the situation turns everything against you on the problemic question, know that, but i hope that you made it.

Hello Ulices, please forgive me I did not understand what you were trying to say....but yes the NCLEX was VERY hard and yes I did review a lot! Not to worry though all my studying did pay off and yes I did pass the first time. Good luck to you as well. Let me know how everything works out for you.

I am beginning to think that 265 is the charm because everyone I know who got that many PASSED! You are in my thouhts and prayers. Yes, all of us will get through this together and I am sure we all did fine. After all we survived nursing school. Now we can do anything like a pass our boards. Good luck! I hope your right. I took my test today 2/28. I took all 265 so I can honestly say that I'm having a nervous breakdown
Congrats on passing!!! I was going to tell you that from everything I've read about and what we were told by the NCLEX people who came to speak to our class, you SHOULD walk away feeling like it was the MOST difficult exam you've ever taken and that you didn't do well. This is because if you have all easy questions, there is a good chance your competency level is low. If you think the exam was super hard, there is a good chance you did well because you were answering the questions correctly, therefore, the questions kept getting more and more difficult. That is the thing about computer-aided testing. It's able to adapt to YOUR particular ability.
Congratulations again on passing....I can only hope to be posting the same in June!!!!
