well i just passed my NCLEX last week and pretty much need to start working.
To begin with i am excited and don't even know where to start in terms of looking for a job.
Secondly I am somewhat scared of starting on a job, what will i do when situations arise???
Any help and any advise on how to calm my fears and where to start looking for a job.

First off, congrats on passing your boards . Secondly anything new is scary. Just take things one day and one thing at a time. Don't be afraid to ask questions. It is the only way to learn. Take care Shannon

thanks so much for your encouragement.
I felt the same way after i took my exam and would you believe i was checking every 2 hours to see if the results where there (yes i know a bit obsessive) but i was anxious and nervous to find out.
Honestly as everyone says you never know. Good luck though let me know what your results are.:wink2:

And of course you were checking every two hours.
Take a deep breath and start looking for a job. Just remember:
They can't scare you, you're a nurse.
i forgot what # it stopped because i wasn't focused on I know it was after 85. Reason being i was so nervous that it had passed 85 that i wanted to go to the bathroom desperately and i was thinking to myself while answering the questions if i could even hold it for the break.:chuckle:bugeyes:
next thing i know while deep in my thoughts the thing shut off. Crazy isn't it.
Let me know how you did. I know exactly how you feel right this minute

I am still waiting for the results right now. I stopped at #85 and had several ? about meds, select all that apply, 1math, and a lot of prioritizing. I am really scared because when I got home, I check some of the ? i remember and found out that my asnswers were wrong!:o:o:o

:ancong!: Now you've had a few days for everything to sink in, soooo, smile to yourself and calmly look for a job. If you can graduate from school and pass the NCLEX, then you can survive job hunting!
