I WANTED TO THANK EVERYONE FOR THERE SUPPORT AND HELP. I PASSED !! I TOOK MY EXAM ON NOVEMBER -11 /08 AND I AM SO EXCITED THAT I DID IT. THERE ARE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE TO YOU ALL THE FEELING I HAVE, IT IS SO WONDERFUL,:nuke: I CAN'T WAIT FOR ALL THOSE WHO ARE PLANNING ON TAKING THERE NCLEX TO FEEL THE SAME AS I DO TODAY. Just wanted to Thank everyone on all nurses for there help and support. I took my exam on November 11 08 and passed with I believe to be 76/77 questions. I cannot explain the wonderful feeling that it is to be a RN :) I HAVE APPLIED MYSELF FOR SO MANY MONTHS AND I HAVE TO SAY THAT PRACTICE + PRAYERS = SUCESS. I THANK GOD EACH AND EVERYDAY FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY , I COULD HAVE NOT GOTTEN THROUGH THIS WITH OUT HIM ... GOOD LUCK TO ALL :nuke:

Hi , congratsssss on passing, I wanted to ask you if you can share with me the kaplan stratergy, I am having difficulty understanding it, I have heard that the startergy helps in some areas however ,knowledge base info is important as well. It is at all possible if you can explain it it me I would truely appreciate it,,thanks

I want to tell you that you will do it!! I also have taken rnclex and failed my first time ,, Flipped out that day wanted to hide and never come out felt weak and worthless,, but then as the days pass I realize I can do two things go get what I want or sit down and feel sorry for myself ? but I have found positive people here and now I have become a study buddy with one of them even though we are far way from each other... and we are going to get through this we really are!! never ever give up, God will get you there when it the right time for you, but it must be his will not ours, pray be patient, you cant go wrong wanting to be a nurse how can you? all you want to do is help others , so do you think that god doesnt want you to pass ? , its the man with the horns that comes in the room with us when we sit down, he doesnt want us to pick the right answers he wants us to pick the wrong answers...he always has to try to get us at our weak moments, so listen you will make it you will!! good luck and I will say a prayer for you and this whole forum because we all deserve it!!!!!!!!!

Ok MyDear , First of all I am allowed to ask for help because this forum is about nursing!!! I no way !!!no how !!!EVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT NCLEX QUESTIONS, IF YOU LOOK IN MATH BOOKS FOR MATH MEDS THESE ARE NORMAL QUESTIONS OF WHICH WE NEED TO LEARN AND YOU BEING IN THE REAL WORLD SHOULD ALREADY KNOW THAT!!! SO PLEASE DONT INVOLVE YOURSELF WITH COMMENTS SUCH AS THE ONE YOU STATED ,BECAUSE YOU ARE A NURSE DOESNT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO ADDRESS THINGS IN A NEGATIVE MANNER WHEN OTHERS ARE TRYING TO BETTER EDUCATE THEMSELVES.. Hi , I am havinga problem doing this math question, I really would like to learn how to figure this out in steps ,Can anyone who really knows math help me please.. Here is an example,,thanks.. Got this from a book but doesnt actually show you how to do the steps to get the answer.. The nusre is careing for PT who has a pres, for dopamine,drip for 5mcg/kg/min The pt weights 200 lbs, the nurse has on hand 400 mg per 500ml d5w avail. How many milliliters should the nurse admin to the pt each hr? the answer was 34ml..but have no idea how they got it.. any help would be appreciated.......................

I believe you will be fine, I do know that the exams are all the same meaning that the comp shuts off at 75 either because you passed and they are satisfied or you didnt prove to them to be at min level..so I think that the hardest part is getting pass that if at all you are not sure b/f you sit to take it. I have known many people to haveall 265 and pass as well as 85 to in the hundreds so please dont stress out. God always finds away. :wink2: and as for your family either way they are gonna love you just the same always remember that ...

It depends what state you are in most states allow you to take it as many times as need be as for florida huhhh horrible state I may add, allows you 3 times after that you must do a remidial that costs over $1300 and is very difficult.. if you dont live in florida you should be ok ...hope it helps.. worse that can happen if your state limits you just apply to another state via application online from the state website fill it out pay the fee money always works,, and you should be ok.. but take the exam at a local perason vue center in your area this way you will not have to do the remidal if your state requests it.Also VIP I JUST FOUND OUT THAT NOT ONLY DO YOU HAVE TO PAY AGAIN FOR THE APPLICATION TO REAPPLY FOR A LICENSE THAT YOU NEVER RECIEVED TO THE STATE OF NURSING IN WHICH YOU LIVE IN, THE MONEY YOU PAY TO TAKE THE RE EXAM AT PEARSON VUE $200 DOESNT GO TO THEM IT GOES TO THE STAE BOARDS OF NURSING THEY HAVE A CONTRACT WITH THEM AS THERE VENDOR..PEARSON VUE ONLY GETS A VERY SMALL PERCENTAGE, SO ASK YOURSELF NOW WHY SO MANY PEOPLE ARE NOT PASSING ,I DID WHEN I FAILED AND I AM A 4.0 STUDENT THEY HAD NO ANSWER FOR ME....ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY AND WHO YOU ARE NOT WHAT YOU KNOW TRUST ME....ALL I CAN SAY IS I AM NO WAY GIVING UP....
