i just got into Depaul!!!!

This is my first time posting but I am so happy to say that I just got into the Fall 2008 cohort for Depaul's Masters Entry Program..the email surprised me. I had no idea I would receive something like this today. Yay!!! Did anyone else get into Depaul today? :nuke::nuke::nuke::nuke::nuke::nuke:

I got the email today as well! It was a lovely start to the morning. Have you applied to any other schools, and do you think you'll be going there this fall?

Well I applied to UIC as well. I've been a student at UIC since 2001. I'm not sure yet..waiting to see if I receive an interview invitation. But it is nice to know that I at least have one school that will accept me. :nuke: Did you apply to any other schools?

Hi, I am also admitted into the Jan '09 MENP cohort. It is looking like I am going to attend but do have a question about what most students do with their summers. With the later start, i believe there will be two summers in the program (?) but it would appear from the course schedule that only a very limited of the courses are offered.

Appreciate your help/thoughts.

hey! welcome to depaul! i believe we're pretty set in what classes we have to take in what quarters, so you're kinda stuck with the 12 or so hours you'll be taking in the summers. im currently trying to look for SNA/CNA jobs in the area, so hopefully i'll be able to pick up more hours during the summer. i've also heard that you can take all of your classes in one half of the summer and take the other half off. again, we're happy to have you, hope to see you around.

Is this program very difficult to get into. Can someone just summarize their grade point average, and other qualifications they had to gain admission to this school. Thanks in advance.
