Just curious... What was everyones NLN score?

Published

If you took the nln, or even the teas whatever you took, I am just curious how everyone scored. I always felt it was too rude to ask other applicants, especially when we're all fighting tooth and nail to be the best of the bunch and get accepted, and I didn't want to brag.

I got a 141 :)

Everyone else feel free to brag!

I scored a 148 on the Pax. Which I thought was great until the girl next to me said she scored a 152 lol. We both made it into our program for this fall. I'm convinced I got in solely on my pax score. I'm a wonderful standardized test taker. I always have been. In-class have to study this to know tests not so much. :sneaky:

I agree, I feel like my test score greatly influenced my acceptance. I'm a pretty good standardized test taker too, and have to work harder for class tests too, it's funny how that works.

I definitely thought I didn't do very well on the science section, and I made 99th percentile though, how does that even happen lol!

I had the same fear. I just knew I flunked the science section also. And honestly some of the words on the vocab part seemed harder to me than some on the SAT! I was dreading clicking the button to find out my score and when it finally popped up I almost fell out of my chair!

Congratulations on being accepted! Now the real "fun" begins! lol

I didn't take the NLN, but I wanted to jump in and say I'm the same way! Class tests, not so much. Standardized? I'm great at them!

I think standardized tests cater more towards common sense. Maybe? has to count for something in nursing. If only I can retain the information from studying...here comes the hard part.

155...and I still didn't get into my top program pick :sarcastic:

I took the HESI for ASN entrance exam and it is based off of a 100 point scale:

Reading- 98%

Math- 92%

Science- 82%
