What are other people feeling about the exam today? I don't have a great feeling at all!

have all the calls been made for nova scotia?

Well the results have started to come out in smaller provinces, so that means Ontario is about 7-10 days from getting their results.

Backwoods what province do you live in? I'm in Nova Scotia and so far- I haven't heard anything from friends!

YesI am in NS. From what I have been told all the fail calls have gone out in NS. Pass letters should be in our mail boxes Monday or Tuesday

Fingers crossed for everyone to get that "pass" we've all been waiting for!

do the "bad" results get mailed first? OMG Im so nervous!

It seems to depend on your province. In Ontario, the CNO swears that all letters go out at the same time, pass and fail alike. Other provinces seem to notify the unsuccessful candidates first.

That's not exactly how it works. In some provinces where temporary licenses are issued to people with jobs who are waiting on their results, the College will send notification to the employer that the license has been revoked for failure to pass the exam. Then the employer contacts the person to inform them that they can no longer work as a nurse until they've passed a rewrite.

Oh, ok - that makes sense. I believe they do that in Ontario, too, though I'm not sure since I don't have a temp registration and didn't when awaiting my CPNRE results either.

Are the calls just done for a day? Like others received calls yesterday and now i'm scared if they're still doing calls...

I doubt they would make calls during the weekend.

I wrote a few years back (3 years ago) and received my letter on July 13; I live in Toronto. My best guess is that they will follow the same type of timeline and everyone will have found out by the 2nd-3rd week of this month.

Maybe this is a silly thing to be confused about, but I noticed many provinces say there's a 4-6 week wait, but CARNA says there's a 6-8 week wait...why the difference?
