What are other people feeling about the exam today? I don't have a great feeling at all!
After spending the past few nights reading way too much into CRNE mark arrival times for the past years, if all things are the same, the earliest results should be out starting the week of July 7, which would likely be for the unsuccessful writers (from what I've gathered, in Alberta anyway, the people who don't pass are mailed a week earlier - but I don't know how accurate that is). If this is true, then the successful writers will get their results the week of July 14.
I could be totally wrong. It all seems like forever anyway. I got a whole hour of sleep amid my cold-sweat, anxiety-induced tossing and turning the night before, had the beginnings of a nasty stomach virus, had to pee like no one's business for about 2 hours, and rushed through the last 40 questions in about 30 minutes and literally colouring in the last question as the proctor said "time". It's all a blur now, and I won't be surprised if I failed...I just want to know. Kind of feels like a form of torture. I apologize in advance to my mail man...
Here is Nova Scotia, grad nurses working under a temporary license will receive a phone call from the CRN that will require the grad nurse to stop working immediately. I have heard that these phone calls can go directly to your employer or to the grad nurse. Soooo...if your working and you don't get the dreaded call. You have passed and will get the proof in the mail the following week.
I keep checking back to see if any of the smaller provinces have got their results yet. The wait is just awful! I had forgotten just HOW bad it sucks to be waiting! When I wrote the CPNRE, it took 5 weeks for our results to come, and I know it usually takes that long, but I was kind of hoping this time they'd mark faster! Wishful thinking, I know!
