What are other people feeling about the exam today? I don't have a great feeling at all!
you could get a VSS yourself by checking off the box and putting in CNO as the requesting agency...This is in the peel region though
I think for Toronto, they don't allow individuals to apply so there is really no form for us to even fill out the site says they do not accept walk ins for the VSS.
Unless someone has tried going in person to apply, there is nowhere to grab a form to apply. If someone was able to get a VSS without having an employer ask for it, it would be helpful here.
We can't put down CNO since they do not hand out the forms like they did before the new changes took effect. I believe we need proof from an actual agency that is requesting it.
Thanks for all the replies regarding the police check...just one more question ...when you guys applied for the clearance letter online did you receive a confirmation number or get a email saying they received your application as soon as you submitted it? I tried doing mine today ...and when I clicked order ...it took me back to the same page and all the boxes were empty...I have not received anything that it was submitted. I just don't want to do it again and be charged twice for it.
After I submitted mine online, the last page had a confirmation number and said again, I will have an email sent when it is ready to be picked up. At the top, it said nothing else like a receipt will not be sent (it just said to print that page for yourself) but other than that page, there is no official receipt sent to you. I just copied and pasted that page into a Word Doc to save myself that confirmation number. Check your credit card to see if it has been charged once so far, if it has then your application went through.
I have also received a response from CNO and a clearance letter is all you need for the license.
Hi everyone, I completed the Athabasca LPN-BN bridging program but live in Ontario. I wrote the CRNE June 4 in Toronto. Due to the program being in Alberta and my wanting to practice in Ontario, I'm wondering who my pass/fail letter will come from? CARNAor the CNO? It seems as if most people have already got their letters. The CNO has already approved my Athabasca program but I'm confused regarding notification about the CRNE. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks, John

From where you wrote the exam, it appears you wrote the exam under CNO. Test takers take the exam in a location in the province where they will get the license from. But I am not a person of direct source to confirm this.

Hi John,
I completed the same program from Athabasca and wrote the exam in June also. I wrote it in Castlegar BC. I received my results from CARNA, and so did all my friends who wrote it in BC.
Hey everyone :) Passed my exam on 3rd attempt!!! Don't ever give up repeat writers!!! Believe in yourself and it will happen :) Congrats to all first time writers and repeat writers!!!!!
I was thinking about you the past few days and wondered what came about, I was so happy to see this!! Congrats, I hope you celebrate like there's no tomorrow!!
Hello fellow newgrads: I have a query re: CNO registration documents. I was informed by CNO that my registration letter will be sent approx two weeks from last wk. However I was wondering if anybody knows if it [might] get sent earlier? I leave in the Toronto area. I am traveling and was hoping to receive it before I leave for my trip. Thank you.
