June 4th CRNE

What are other people feeling about the exam today? I don't have a great feeling at all!

I wrote in Toronto. Just want to get the results the wait is starting to make me feel sick literally.

well, 2.5 weeks left! has anyone started to study for the october crne just in case?

Haha I've been debating doing that. But part of me just wants to relax as much as possible now just incase I do have to study again. And chances are it would be more stressful reviewing and coming across something that reminds me of a question and you start panicking that you chose the wrong answer. Best to likely just enjoy these last couple "free" weeks and relax as much as you can.

It has been a painful wait though. I have a job offer, a move to a new city, my husband's career, and my kids entire lives all depending on this exam. I'm terrified...

I found the exam to be slightly difficult, the case studies were long and took up a lot of my time. I found myself narrowing the MC down to 2 answers most of the time. But overall I was able to finish in time, I just did not get anytime to review my answers :nailbiting:. I am just hoping and praying for the best!

yeah, it was either one or the other. I finished with about 1h left in the exam and went over the first hundred or so questions while also changing maybe 5-6 answers to hopefully the correct ones or maybe not. I don't know anymore. Just 2-2.5 weeks more until the results!

I was reading some CRNE threads on this forum from the past 2 years and there is a lot of people posting that they've failed...Scary.

Yeah but they're also usually posting because they didn't pass. Plus each exam has varying pass/fail rates. Of all the people I went to school with I only know 1 who didn't pass on her first try, but she did on her second. Here's to being hopeful :)

I am so torn between wanting my results STAT and wanting to continue living in this little limbo bubble in case I wasn't successful...

haha yeah. I would rather get the results because if I didn't pass then I know and can start studying now.

In the past, CRNE results were in the mailbox on the 17th of the following month. So 17 days to go!

Apparently last June they wrote on the 5th, and people in Ontario heard at the latest by the 15th/16th. Who knows, honestly...sadly, there's no way to predict when exactly the results will come. I just am both dreading it and wanting it to be over in equal amounts!

I still keep flip-flopping between thinking that surely I passed, and fearing that I may have failed.

OMG!! that is definitely scary:cry:, but in 2012 86.9% of Canadian educated students passed the exam. I have the link below. But hopefully we are all apart of that 86.9% of students. I am also worried but I need to think positive!

The "bad" calls are going out! I know of 2 classmates that will have to re-write. :(
