Who took the exam? I graduated last april 2006 and a candidate to take the exam but I decided to take the december 2006 examination instead hoping for a better score.
I heard a rumor that a review center in baguio had a leakage of the whole NP V and NP III exam, its quite a news in our university as well as in other local forum and other schools.
some of my friends who review on that particular review center confirmed to me that , YES, they had a leakage of around 50 items, most of which are asked in the NP V exam.
My friends attended the same review center but , it in its MANILA branch.
The leakage given to them was in a QUESTION AND ANSWER FORMAT. there are no choices, just the question and the right answer. It was given to them the evening before the exam.
In any case that it will be proven by the board that there was a leakage, the exam results will be forfeited and there will be a retake.
I hope this won't happen this december.
The result fo the NLE will be extended daw, next month daw.
Aside fromt that 91 students who filed case against the PRC, there are also 41 students filed a case against PRC in Human Rights in Western Visayas, because the nursing students from that school were pulled out from their respective room on the day of the examination...And when they asked for an explanation on Rosero for the reason of pulling them out and giving a midnight memorandum, she just said that "I'ts because of your school, we were given a PESO budget"... Is this the way a PROFESSIONAL person should react?

yesterday morning, my sleep was cut short because of a frantic message telling me that the NLE results are already posted outside the PRC... i didnt panic of course (in fact, i think im already numb to the teeth from receiving frantic messages since week one), i went online and just as expected, the Inquirer and Manila Bulletin sites were the same as ive checked it before going to bed... arggh... i hope people would exert effort to do some research first before forwarding text messages... not good to spread rumors...
anyway, any suggestions what to do while waiting? is there any hospital/clinic you know where under-board students can get nursing experience?

ei guys, thanks for the tips... i guess id better start hitting the books again...i know a local license is not required for the nclex but somehow it just didnt feel right to be thinking of a US license with the NLE results still at the helm...
now that the PRC confirmed the leakage in the exams, my anxiety level's up several notches again... :o
the report adds that results are expected to be released next week...
i wonder if there were any guidelines used in checking the papers? you think they were able to identify students who used the said leakage?... boy... that would be really complicated... :o
