June 2006 Philippine nursing board exam

yeah a sad news.. i hope it wont affect the proposal of having a testing center for nclex in the philippines next year..

wow....the gossip is true? I passed last year's exam without leakage but I took my review classes in that review center.

so you think the result of the exam will be delayed ? .......arggg

i took the exam, but had my review in another review center.

the incident was in the news last night at ABS-CBN, they mentioned the name of the review center.

my friend told me that it is given during the closed door review.. sad.. maybe the results will be delayed because of that.. and it might affect the proposal of having a testing center for nclex here..

Result will be published in circulating newspapers 11 days after the examination dates. But I sense that there will be a re-test and there will be no result to published at all.

According to the latest rumors around, a COLLEGE located in manila received a leakage and tips from a BON member who was a former faculty of the school. [ This issue is very sensitive, I prefer not to name the college and the BON member ]

There are atleast 3 review centers with confirmed leakage.

Until the PRC and BON make their official statement, no conclusion(s) can be made.

Let us pray for all the examinees...I hope the exam results will be released and that it will not be considered void.

I personally do not believe these leakages, because how can they do that? The Board of examiners couldn't release the exam questions ahead of time to anybody right? Otherwise, they violate their parameters as board examiners(question makers) and their integrity/dignity as impartial professionals.

If these so called leakages did exist, then the burden should be carried by the PRC and BON, because they have failed in ensuring the honesty and impartiality of the exams(the security and integrity of the test in general). The students/examinees should not be blamed as they only take the test. They(Phil government in general) should have learned better from the bar exams(for would be Phil lawyers) leakage in the supreme court that happened in the past(I'm not sure of the year, but it happened somewhere around 2000-2006, the leakage was something about mercantile law).

very true! the prc + bon should carry the burden.. i went to that review center + yes there was a closed door coaching but leakages

didnt happen.. before i went to that review center i already heared

hearsays regarding their leakages, unfortunately there was none! and yeah

i was very disappointed ofcourse some would thought that the questions coming from them would be a leakage + i could not blame them for that, because of the high fee, because of the students confidence

what i realised about giving closed door coaching was to boost up your confidence.. that i consider a leakage from them, they're really good!

i didnt realise until i passed the boards that they will make you feel smart

as if you know how to answer + to analize well each hard + confusing

question.. if your hopeless like i used to be they were just like a

supplement from what you've learned in school, they will teach you how to

listen, to comprehend, to analize to be smart! + i feel so bad that they've been accused for so many years but never been proven guilty.. only for

those who failed and those who were envy?? c'mon let's face it!

one thing i have learned from them was do not pay attention to mumble of others during the exam, do not get envy if someone would claim he/she knows the answer.. because that will bog down your moral.. and i succeed!

and if its really true that they have leakages they would have a 100%

passing score, but they're not on our bacth dec 2004 many students

failed including my 3 friends.. i dont think its really fair and if ever

they should complain to prc + bon

last year I attended review sessions on that said review center, and on our closed door final coaching, we (me and my classmates) asked for you know "leakage"or something such as that. but the reviewers said they really do not have any leakage... and its true, they really do not have leakage not even 1. and every year, this had been an issue with this review center..maybe the ones who spread the news are the ones who had LEAKAGE.

Just my personal opinion. "YOU WILL ONLY STONE, A FRUITFUL TREE." There are several REVIEW CENTERS in MANILA.... A very "profitable" business..... And the BEST way to DESTROY your competitors business is to MAKE NEGATIVE ACCUSATIONS and USE the MEDIA....How SAD....

N.B. I did not review for the LOCAL NURSING EXAM... a NEUTRAL colleague here
