June 2006 Philippine nursing board exam

Who took the exam? I graduated last april 2006 and a candidate to take the exam but I decided to take the december 2006 examination instead hoping for a better score.

I heard a rumor that a review center in baguio had a leakage of the whole NP V and NP III exam, its quite a news in our university as well as in other local forum and other schools.

some of my friends who review on that particular review center confirmed to me that , YES, they had a leakage of around 50 items, most of which are asked in the NP V exam.

My friends attended the same review center but , it in its MANILA branch.

The leakage given to them was in a QUESTION AND ANSWER FORMAT. there are no choices, just the question and the right answer. It was given to them the evening before the exam.

In any case that it will be proven by the board that there was a leakage, the exam results will be forfeited and there will be a retake.

I hope this won't happen this december.

i also did took the nursing licensure exam last june 11-12 and im also a reviewee of RA gapuz. all i can say is that why complain on test 5 its the easiest test among the 5 test why make a big fuss about it?Gapuz review center have a good program with or without leakage it will be easy for you too pass test5 if you really did pay attention on the review. its really sad that some people will go this far just to destroy someone. sir ray is a good man he never reprehend someone just to make it on top. unlike other review centers who are vocal on crticizing our review and keep on saying that we wasted so much money for nothing. if you gonna look @ the complainant on the news its obvious that they have a copy of the lecture and guide question that sir ray gave on the final coaching. if you gonna think why make a big issue about it if it will gonna make you pass the board exam?is their a hidden agenda?. im not saying that the question in test 5 is exactly the same question that was given on our guide question its just that it is the predicted question since the exam focus on the 10 nursing competencies for example lithium its obvious that you must always watch for the lithium lv of the patient for toxicity and that falls in the key area of safety pretty basic.thats why im keep on saying that plz dont be judgemental of the issue and always look on the two side of the coin before posting something that will surely affect those who will read it specially those who took the said exam posting something that will provoke someone or making someone worry is not therapeutic. after all we will all be licensed nurses after we pass the board. its better to practice your etiqutte now and be rational than to practice it when you are already in the hospital setting.lets just all pray that the decision would be fair for all of us and may god always be on our back no matter what happens

im the father of a son marco nino from cebu city my son took the june 11 and 12 2006 philippine nursing licensure i was expecting the results would come out on june 19 2006 the birth anniversary of dr jose rizal actually i dreamed about it 2 weeks ago of a view of the luneta park but could connect this to the recent imbroglio leakage that allegedly took place in baguio city it was really weird this dream because someone screamed that philippine history stopped this scene at the luneta park well there are no periods here but i guess the credibility of the june 11 and 12 2006 philippine nursing licensure may as well have ceased yesterday june 19 2006, the birth of dr jose rizal and what he dreamed that would take place a century hence by the way im a doctor too who works in the government treating sick prisoners at the cebu provincial detention and rehab center would like to join me in this weird profession that i have? well, better tell that to dr jose rizal hehe

Very well said. I agree w/ all you've posted. Some people just don't practice responsible posting. Freedom of speech is good but it is not absolute.

i heard in the news today that there are no formal complaint about it.... just when will PRC and BON release a final decision about this?

A good friend of mine went to the PRC to check the official statement of the said issue. The PRC said that don't believe about the issues. Just wait and maybe the result will come out next week...

its really quiet frustrating for everyone who took the test last june 11 & 12 regarding on the issue of cheating. some of the blogers here online had admitted that they do have the "leakage" materials on the night before the exams. whichever side is true, everyone hopes that the result is reliable and will be available really soon. im not from the said review center but i strongly believe that there isnt a fire without a smoke...maybe there are certain aspects as to which this issues resurfaced due to some previous notions of the said review center. there wont be anything like this if there isnt really something fishy going on.

thanks tom. these are probably all black propaganda from unscrupulous persons. their using all forms of media including public nursing forums to spread nasty rumors that may be detrimental to every future filipino nurse.

i honestly don't think a real filipino nurse in the right frame of mind would post anything that may be detrimental to the filipino nurse's reputation here and abroad. whether it be irresponsibly posting and spreading unconfirmed news and passing it as the truth or allegedly posting leakages on public nursing forums purposely. no real filipino nurse would do that unless it's really on purpose to destroy our reputation. either that or just plain stupidity on the part of others but i'd rather believe that some posters still don't know how powerful of a media are these nursing forums are and how much of a reach they have.

so, it's final then. it's all a nasty rumor started by unscrupulous persons and spread like wildfire on the world wide web by irresponsible persons who don't give a damn on what effects it can curtail to others just because he or she wasn't part of that exam.

i really dont care about all these issues coming out. im just sitting my ass here in the house all day taking a one-month break from all the stress of nursing educ. i guess i'll be fresh enough after that... just waiting for the results to come out.. good luck to all of us

WHen will the results come out? any news... i thought after the exam i'll have sleepful nights. i need the results so i can go to lala-land before starting NCLEX review
