June 2006 Philippine nursing board exam

Published

Who took the exam? I graduated last april 2006 and a candidate to take the exam but I decided to take the december 2006 examination instead hoping for a better score.

I heard a rumor that a review center in baguio had a leakage of the whole NP V and NP III exam, its quite a news in our university as well as in other local forum and other schools.

some of my friends who review on that particular review center confirmed to me that , YES, they had a leakage of around 50 items, most of which are asked in the NP V exam.

My friends attended the same review center but , it in its MANILA branch.

The leakage given to them was in a QUESTION AND ANSWER FORMAT. there are no choices, just the question and the right answer. It was given to them the evening before the exam.

In any case that it will be proven by the board that there was a leakage, the exam results will be forfeited and there will be a retake.

I hope this won't happen this december.

yesterday morning, my sleep was cut short because of a frantic message telling me that the NLE results are already posted outside the PRC... i didnt panic of course (in fact, i think im already numb to the teeth from receiving frantic messages since week one), i went online and just as expected, the Inquirer and Manila Bulletin sites were the same as ive checked it before going to bed... arggh... i hope people would exert effort to do some research first before forwarding text messages... not good to spread rumors...:uhoh3:

anyway, any suggestions what to do while waiting? is there any hospital/clinic you know where under-board students can get nursing experience?

i think there are secondary hospitals who give under boards a slot . . .

that's good to hear... if you happen to know any hospitals in manila that accept underboard volunteers, do share...tHanks

Lets keep our fingers crossed and hope that the results will come out on july 16 and we will see our names in the list of ner RNs

ok, ive read that thread and i cant seem to understand what theyre talking about.

uhmm.. maybe u can help me a bit. uve said u borrowed sum reviewers for ielts from gapuz.. how much does it cost? im from bacolod, and based from the thread u gave me, theyre basically form manila. maybe the agencies they mentioned have outlets here in our province.. or i dont know.

how long is the review? how much does ielts cost?

im still waiting for the june nle results..

thanx a lot

i toke my ielts exam last march 11 and i went to MSA reveiw center.thay offer good materials for the ielts.it is expensive though it costs me almost 9000 for the review itself and the exam is 9000 too.

hey can anyone tell me here the difference of toefl and ielts? are they equal?

and what is more better to take nclex or cgfns? oh thank god truth really prevails, hope there would be a fair decision for that for all of us not only board takers but as well as our family who equally shares the burden we have

can you give us idea what are the subjects that came out in the board exam? and how many parts? and what part is the hardest? so that we can study hard...

thanks

for alsh

cgfns and nclex passer are granted to have an immigrant visa

while nclex passer alone are granted to have working visa

ielts is a british english

uhhmm.. i say.. study hard on every subject. its not objective-type till end.. most are situational and requires critical thinking. just dont over analyze things.. or make questions out of the question coz it'll do u no good. its important to know ur basic nursing cause every question boils down to the basics..

from what i understand, passing nclex (rn) in many states is required to secure an rn license, which, in turn, makes you eligible for immigrant visa petition by your u.s. employer.

a handful of states require passing BOTH nclex rn and cgfns to be licensed and towards being granted an immigrant visa NOT a working visa.

there are many threads discussing this topic in the int'l forum. it'll be worth your time checking them out...
