ei guyz... have you watched d local news @ chanel 2... wherein the BON & PNA were suggesting to have a retake of our june 2006 board exams? and there were news that there are a lot of local institutions who were not accepting passers of the said june board?! any reaction guyz?
i am a passer of d recent board dat's why i'm kinda dismayed... however if a retake would help clear our name... i would also opt for a retake... however i'm hoping that if there's going to be a retake... PRC won't handle the said retake and the BON wont also be making the exams... i guess they have also loss their credibility on that... so what's your opinion?
keep on posting!!:welcome:

This would be a good discussion. Hope no naming of review centers and other personalities. The issue/case is still being discussed and investigated.

i also passed the june 2006 nle..im still hoping that they will not let us retake the exam..i just dont want to undergo the same stress and tension that i had last june.. i even got sick!urgh!
so to all who passed the june nle, let us just pray for the enlightenment of the minds and for sound decision making of all those who are involved in deciding for the fate of the results of our exam :wink2: :wink2: :wink2:

i agree...it wont do any good to label, accuse nor patronize anybody at this point...they may be victims too, you know.
i dont like the idea of a retake... as it is, we already have more than our fair share of anxiety from all the waiting involved for our licenses,,,not to mention the expenses plus the money that we could have earned if only the results came out without all these hassles...
i just hope that politicians wouldnt use this issue to put some spotlight to their faces...

well on my own opinion it is not fair for us who took the test and passed it without the leakage to retake the test again. they consider the people who were involve in leakage but they never mentioned the feelings of the people who didn't have the leakage in the first place.i don't wanna go though the anxiety again and probably delay my plans because of the retake.they should also consider your feelings (those who doesn't have the leakage) when they make the decision because our fututre is at sake too.

I agree with you!! I just hope and pray that they will consider our situation.
i do agree. . .i also passed da nle2006 wid out any leakage . . . know wat guys i watched bandila last nyt and i was shocked . . wat dey aired r just those who can not accept that they were not among the topnatchers and that their skul s not in included in the top ranking . . oh common der no longer after the leakage but der after der defeat!!!! and 2 bandila dey wer bias in reporting dey did not get r side . .correct me f im wrong dey said dat almost all of the 17,821 who passed want 2 hav a retake and dat a strong pa-cbilty dat der wil b a retake !!!and i totally disagree wid dat!! gud thing wen i turned it 2 saksi wat dey reported was de ader way round and dey just reported wat rili hapen in da senate hearing wid both side fair nd square!!!! (WALANG KINIKILINGAN TLGA) not lyk aders (panig sa katotohanan) oh common u havent proven anything and ur job s just to report and not 2 "PANIG" ur already below the belt!!! u reporters shud also think r situation not simply by reporting bias reports ,,u hav 2 c 2 it dat u wil not affect aders!!!

hi felicci.. can you please clear me on this -- paid Php1050 for your license? after that when can you get your license? how about the oathtaking? wont they be following the alphabetical schedule of registration posted in the prc info area? pardon me for my stupid questions.
i also share the same sentiments with you - i dont agree with the retake. it's unfair for those of us who sacrificed just to pass the exam.. and they just can't set aside our sacrifices - coz that's a lot!
God is good though and He will be in control! so no worries :)

HI everbody! this situation we are in increases our anxiety levels even more, instead of focusing on the other exams that we need to take, we are still on the same old issue, i also passed without the leakgae, it was all from pure hard work, dedication and fatih in the Lord during th whole review, it's just so unfair for us who did our part honestly to pass the exams to just have another retake. NLE is more of the philippine setting, so if we a going to face another retake, back to old books instead of studying another appoach. time money and energy are wasted...

from what i've seen on tv, the UP Manila wants to have a retake since they believe that those who passed are not competent enough because they only passed the NLE through leakage. If the PRC would not dismiss the license given, foreign countries will be seeing us not competent nurses therefore Pinoy Rn's image will not be as good as before. That was the news said yesterday. On my opinion, since they have shown who passed and who ddin't passed better yet do not let the students retake it since for God sake if they aren't sure about the results,.they shouldn't posted it yet. besides, to become a foreign nurse, you don't need to pass the NLE so therefore do not let them retake,.
