June NCLEX takers

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hello everyone I thought I should start a post for all of us taking the NCLEX in June. Let's discuss what we are studying and what day are you testing? I take mine June 13th. My school was big on ATI so I did the VATI and doing a lot of codes for ATI. I'm reading the NCLEX book they gave us for the 3 day review. I'm also doing the NCLEX mastery app and going to purchase UWORLD tomorrow and do that for the remainder until the exam. I'm also in Illinois btw taking the PN.

I'm taking mine June 20th and just now started studying! I'm fairly confident I'll pass the NCLEX. I'm currently using Uworld and NCLEX mastery app before bed.

Hello all future RN's!

I am looking to bond with other New grads anxiously awaiting their ATTs, test days, & results.

I am applying to the Massachusetts BON and went to school in New Hampshire.

I registered with PV & sent in my MA BON application on 4/20 and got confirmation it was received on 4/27. (for those of you who don't know, MA recently hired a company in TN to do all of their paperwork) so it took 7 days for my application to go from NH to TN.

I graduated 5/21 & UNH sent out our transcripts 6/2 so they should have gotten there by today.

How long should I expect the MA BON to process my transcripts if they received them today? Then how long do they take to send PV the ok? Then how long does PV take to send me the ATT? Once I go to schedule my MA exam, how far out are the available test dates?

Several of my classmates received their ATTs this week, but they are testing for a NH license not MA so perhaps NH BON is not as backed up.

ALSO, if anyone has the 35 page study guide I would really appreciate it! my email is [email protected]

They say 6 weeks

Finally received my ATT today and scheduled for the 29th. The 22nd was also available and I've considered moving it but I'm scared!

I took NCLEX June 1st and passed with the minimum 75 questions in 45 minutes. My school was big in to ATI and they were worth 10% of our grades for the classes that had them and in a weird way I was more nervous for ATIs since they were worth 10% compared to NCLEX I was so calm even tho it was for licensure. I did 200 virtual ati questions and 300 RN NCLEX mastery app questions for prep that is it and i thought the NCLEX was easier than any clinical class test or ATI that we took. I know that is just my opinion and our school has great passing rates first time 95% or above every year but that was my experience.

Taking mine today. I'm scared to death.

We're testing on the same day. Good luck!

That makes me feel so much better! Kaplan has honestly been psyching me out but I did so so well on ATI. I experienced the same feelings before the ATI's as well because if we failed them, we would be kicked out of the program! Like I said, I passed with all level 3's aside from Maternal/Newborn... I've been doing tons of questions each day so hopefully I am as lucky as you!

Any other tips?

Taking mine today. I'm scared to death.

Good luck!

I took my VN nclex in CA on 6/6 and got 85 questions and took me about 1 hour. I've gotten the good pop several times so keeping my fingers crossed. I used Saunders question back and ncsbn. Anyone in CA have luck getting their results faster then 4-6 weeks?

I am testing June 16th and I am getting so anxious. 8 people in my class (graduated 5/12/16) have taken NCLEX RN. We are all LPN's and this was a transition program. 2 have passed, 5 have for sure failed and one ran out of time, results pending. This is a group of really good practicing nurses. What is happening? Did boards get that much harder this go around? I have been an LPN for over 20 years and I am scared to death. I got all A's in school, but now, IDK. We used Kaplan and I did okay, but did not love it. Picmonics has helped me recently. Wish I knew about that during school and now, thanks to allnurses.com, I have discovered uWorld. My average now is 63 and I have done 900 question. One week to go. Do I dare start studying something else?

YAY! I am in NC too. Taking 6/16/16. Way to go, RN
