I gave my exam in March. Did not make it. But I am not going to give up. I have no choice. My biggest need is NCLEX-RN. My biggest challenge is Nclex -RN. Lets make it possible. Come come join me. ANY STUDY TIPS FOR ME STUDYING LIKE FIRST TIME TAKING NCLEX-RN.
Thanks for all your posts/sharing content with one another. I myself am planning as well to RETAKE (3rd time) NCLEX in july but am worried about the difficulty of the nclex this time, since the new raised standards. Took it march 29th, all near passing, took Kaplan twice did Qbank Ques trainers, scoring around mid high 60s almost on all...didnt work, hope it will be very useful for those who are planning to take Kaplan. I am now listening to Feuer audio lectures from a friend, only Med Surg major contents, doing questions from Suanders, NCLEX 3500, Lippincotts, whewww dont know how well I will do...it is tough to get myself together each day w/ family and 2 small kids running around but I will do it, only with the help of G-d...AND SO WILL YOU! Think positive, study hard and the efforts will truly pay off (I hope this time ) Best to all test takers...!!!

I really recommend kaplan"""........ And guys foucs on infection and prevention control, diabetes, drugs, calulation ........, diet,!! Above all ,,, do kaplan pratice test and q bank................ N there is nth to worry about!!
While doing qbank and practice tests, make flash card or note so u can look at on the lAst day of ur test!!! That is wot i did!!!
Thanks for your advise, I will take my next week, I'm really nervous , my mind cannot concentrated anymore. I used kaplan too, my practice score are very low. I so scare now...

Thanks for the advice. What do you mean by focus on diet? What the patient is suppose to be eating according to a certain disease process?

Would just like to point out that your test can be totally different to someone else so do not spend time concentrating in an area that someone says they got a lot of questions in. You can and will be asked anything and you will find that no 2 tests will be the same
Also remember the confidential agreement you sign at pearsonvue regarding not discussing questions that you get on the test
I'm a foreign nurse, took the NCLEX-RN last Thursday in London.
Have been practicing since March, did well on the practice exams, used Kaplan and Saunders.
I was totally relaxed starting the exam, felt like I was on a role...after a 100 questions I became nervous, after 150 I had a breakdown and started crying. I begged for every question to be the last.:dzed: At 200 I realized I was going all the way to 265 and I did. I wanted to leave so badly but had to finish the review questions (didn't like that, just wanted to get out of there) I'm pretty sure I flunked. I tried the PVT, it took me to the credit card page. So that's one sign, but I still have one sparkle of hope. I want to do the 'quick result' lookup on the PV website (the one you have to pay $7,78), but I don't know how.
When I log into my account it states in red ; 'exam results are not available at this time'. It's been over 48 hours since I took the exam.
How do I do this?

Quick results can take a little bit longer than 48 hours. I found Saunders the best book and I am a International nurses that passed using Saunders and learningext.com on the 3rd attempt
