June 2010 CRNE Results

Published

I don't want to start the posts too early, but I was just wondering if anyone knew how long it is actually supposed to take to get results this year. I know that some people I worked with last summer got theirs in early-mid July. I checked out the CNO website and the CNA website (and a few others along the way) one says 8-12 weeks and the other says 4-6. I'm already driving myself crazy...if I have to wait another 8+ weeks I'll end up really going off the deep end :uhoh3:

I Passed! I'm in Grimsby

Congrats!

Are you sure? I just got mine, and I'm in Grimsby, my mail doesn't come till around noon.

Trust me, i'm sure.... I asked the mailman to double check. I know others in Hamilton who didn't get anything either, as well as people who did...

i jus got my mail too ..failed by one point ...feelin horrible ...but cant give up....i didnt have time to finish the exam so i left 30 questions in the end ...im not sure if that contributed to the failure ..i feel the exam was too long and so is the questions ..could anyone give me ny tips on how to take exam next time n to b able to finish all the questions ...thanks

congrates to all who passed ,...have faith who were unsucessfull ..we ll do better this time ...

I'm so sorry to hear that. You'll surely pass next time since you must have gotten enough right before the 30 anyway. Good luck!

My mailwoman finally broke down and asked today: "Are you waiting for something in particular? You seem to be at the door everyday I come by". That's a sign this is taking too long, LOL. So here in Windsor, I shall wait another day. I really had a feeling today would be the day; maybe tomorrow? Who knows!

I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :nurse:

My DH checked the mail and yelled at me to get downstairs QUICK! So I almost killed myself running down the stairs, but it was worth it!!!

I'm an hour or so East of Ottawa. It was just one sheet that said I was successful.

Sorry to hear that, but glad to hear you're not giving up! You should feel good that you only failed by one point when you left 30 questions! That exam was absolutely brutal in terms of time AND content... and I'm sure many people are in the same boat that had to leave or guess questions, but failed by a lot more than you did... My advice would just be to do as many practice questions as you can in an exam-like setting in preparation for the test, to get used to reading the questions and choosing an answer quickly...

The online test wasn't very helpful as the questions were much easier and shorter than the ones on the exam and you had almost 2 minutes per question whereas on the exam I believe it was about 64-69 seconds per question... It's all about being able to manage the stress... You'll be better prepared to manage it next time and you will kick butt!

thanks a lot ..i think it would help if i do questions in exam like setting and manage my time properly ..i m ok with knowledge part ..its just that i was reading questions as if i am reading a novel ..so i couldn't finish it ....could nyone recommend any course i can take to learn some exam tips ....

Congats RescueNinja! :yeah: You must be on top of the world! Were you confident you had passed or on the fence? Your wait is over! Wishing you the best!

Thank you!!

It depended on the day :lol2: When I left the exam I didn't know what to think - one of those "WTH was that?!" moments. I guess I didn't think I had failed, but I wasn't confident that I had passed either if that makes sense...
