I don't want to start the posts too early, but I was just wondering if anyone knew how long it is actually supposed to take to get results this year. I know that some people I worked with last summer got theirs in early-mid July. I checked out the CNO website and the CNA website (and a few others along the way) one says 8-12 weeks and the other says 4-6. I'm already driving myself crazy...if I have to wait another 8+ weeks I'll end up really going off the deep end
I just got my result this morning and I passed. I was expecting the word PASS but I couldn't find and I was becoming anxious. So I had to breath and read carefully so I find that I was successful in the CNRE... just one thinnnnnn page.It was my first time and I am a IEN. So my confidence level was very low, even I had worked almost 10 years in my country. I study the Mosby's Review Book, cover to cover. I bought both CNA Prep guide and the Lippincotts. And I went to U of T prep course of two days. It was very helpful.
Congratulations for everybody that passed. And for who not passed, don't give up of your dream...
Congratulations!
I finally got my results and I passed! Congrats to everyone who passed and good luck to those still waiting.
Congrats!!!
Anyone who has 5 or less someone someone will double check it. I once had 5 too and the CNO said they usually hand-score a second time. So no need to pay extra.
I hope this is correct, I will double check tomorrow. I got a 120 so I REALLY do not want to pay 55$ Wow. I would give ANYTHING to get that one extra point!!! Hmmmm I feel very dumb right now, this is a horrible shot given to my self-esteem!!!
My friend also got 120/121 . She called them to do a review they said that it will take 4 weeks. She was still however adviced to register to write the exam in October in case nothing changes. For the review I think she said it was like $55 or $65 don't remember. You never know maybe it's worth a try.
Congrats to all of you, after 4 years of hard work it's all worth it. Let's go out there and give clients good efficient care. Let's be advocates for them. Let's just do it. This is a new beginning.
For those who did not make it, congrats you made it through the 4 years, you will pass this exam next time. GOD is Good keep praying he will see you through.
Greetings. I am a RN living in California. I passed the NCLEX in October 2008 and wish to take the Canadian Boards. I have been cleared to take the test and here is my question. What resources do you recommend that I use? If you've passed the NCLEX I would love to hear your experience with how different or similar it was for you and what sources you used prior to writing the Canadian exam.
Thank you,

Still nothing in the mail for me in Hamilton today! This is torturous
Congratulations to all who have found out they passed and for those who did not, do not give up hope... just another bump in this very bumpy road we've been on for quite some time...
Could someone who has found out that they were not successful on the exam and had/has a temp license let those of us who are still waiting know if their information has been changed on findanurse? I'd REALLY appreciate it... one less thing to obsessively check....
Good luck to everyone still waiting!
I live in Ottawa... My last name is in the A's (if that alphabetical report was accurate)... And all I got was a Bell bill! Wow. This is so horrible... I have been sitting on pins and needles & having heart palpatations :redbeathe since the results started coming out... Congrats to all those who got their results yesterday, and in advance for you lucky ducks who will get results today. The torture continues....????????
Hie, to all ..Congratulations to those who have made it at this time..............and thank you for all those encouraging words. I didnt make it at this point and will never give up. I have just registered again......way to go.

I studied for the 6-ish weeks prior to the exam; each day, I woke up an hour and a half before my daughter to study; read/studied/did questions for 2 hours while she napped; and studied for another 4-6 hours when she went to bed each night. On the days she was at the babysitter, I would spend all day studying. I used ALL of my notes from years 1-4 and read them all, and I also used Mosby's CRNE Prep (4/5 editions) and the Lippincott (4th ed.) Prep Guide. I scored 85-95% on the Lippincott guide and felt so confident going in to the exam, but now it's getting down to it and I'm just getting plain scared. Everyone at work keeps asking "Do you have your results yet?!" To all of those who were unsuccessful, my heart goes out to you and as someone mentioned before, this is not a reflection of how amazing a nurse you truly are. Don't give up hope! :redbeathe
