I don't want to start the posts too early, but I was just wondering if anyone knew how long it is actually supposed to take to get results this year. I know that some people I worked with last summer got theirs in early-mid July. I checked out the CNO website and the CNA website (and a few others along the way) one says 8-12 weeks and the other says 4-6. I'm already driving myself crazy...if I have to wait another 8+ weeks I'll end up really going off the deep end
i got results today. failed by 1 point. sucks BUT i failed but im not a failure! to those who are on the same boat with me -don't be pessimistic! we will do better in Oct, we have the knowledge and we just need to have a better luck next time! like many of you i just guessed approx. 20 questions simply due to luck of time. well for next time when we go to write it in oct. we will know what to expect.. But for now take one week off from this anxious waiting and uncertainty, enjoy your family and friends! and start studying again it will definitely pay off soon. keep your brain sharp, study hard and please enjoy your life -don't hide and cry and feel miserable !
My last name starts with "A" and my temp registration is still online. does that mean anything? Im thinking if I didn't pass they would have revoked it?
I asked this of the CNO (for what that's worth) and was told that they do not update for 5-7 days to allow applicants to recieve results before employers can verify. That being said, the "find a nurse" "about this service" link says that information is updated within 2 business days. I would think there is a legal responsability to immediately take a nurse out of practice if he/she is known to be unfit. Maybe someone else can call the CNO and will get a different answer (lol) Still waiting in the A's in Ottawa..... ????????

I checked the system today and my name was off the list..it came up as no results even though I have a temp license so I just assumed that meant I failed. I called the CNO. The lady said that if you failed your name would be off the system. She looked up my name and said it is still on the system...they are just having trouble with the website. I then asked since my name was still on the system does that mean I passed....she said no.
So she really didnt make any sense or offer any advice
I'm from Hamilton and I'm in the A's and still anxiously stalking the poor mail/man woman... Does anyone know exactly what the exam was out of? From what I've read on here a passing score was 121... I know there were 208 questions but I cannot recall how many they said would be trial/non-counting questions...
Thanks
Yeah, apparently they're not allowed to tell you over the phone if you passed or failed.... I know a girl who was working and still hadn't received results 4-5 days after everyone in her area had... and after calling and asking them 4 times they finally told said "Well all I can tell you is that you were not unsuccessful". Btw.. I was trying to get on findanurse all this morning and couldn't... now that it's working again my name still shows up with my temp license.. but if you didn't pass you'd think they would put 'not entitled to practice' rather than just remove you alltogether

Another ambiguous response from the CNO! What is the answer? Does our Provincial Regulatory Body continue to inform the public it is supposed to protect that Nurses listed in its registry are entitled and deemed fit to practice when in truth the College is aware that they are not.....
I'm just outside Toronto and I got my results. Pass!! WhoohoooCongrats to everyone and Good Luck!
Congrats!!!!!
Hey all, the verdict is in............I PASSED!!!!! Not sure how true the alphabetical order rumor is but my last name starts with N and my friend who also got her results and lives down the street from me got her results (she passed as well, yah!) and her last name starts with C......doesnt really matter if they send them alphabetically, the mail gets mixed up with all the others. Congrats to all those who have been successful, and to those who have not, be positive that things will happen for you too.....let me tell you why.....
