June 2010 CRNE Results

Published

I don't want to start the posts too early, but I was just wondering if anyone knew how long it is actually supposed to take to get results this year. I know that some people I worked with last summer got theirs in early-mid July. I checked out the CNO website and the CNA website (and a few others along the way) one says 8-12 weeks and the other says 4-6. I'm already driving myself crazy...if I have to wait another 8+ weeks I'll end up really going off the deep end :uhoh3:

Please don't hide away. Take a day to refocus and start over again. Good Luck.

I just wish there was something I could do for that ONE point I mean!! wow.... I cannot go through this whole process again! I may just write the american one as well just in case. Is there ANYTHING that can be done? It's such a miserable way to fail an exam. I still cannot get over this. Words of advice anyone? I think I'm in the bargaining phase of grief right here haha. UGH!!

My last name starts with "A" and my temp registration is still online. does that mean anything? Im thinking if I didn't pass they would have revoked it?

I keep wondering the same thing. If the marks have been released that means they are in the computer....and if we failed our temp reg number would be off the website right. I dont know if this is correct but It seems logical. Maybe we are hopeful thinking.....

I dont know for sure but I do know a nurse who failed a few years ago by one mark as well. She says even to this day ( despite the fact that she rewrote and passed and is now an ER nurse 2 years later) that she wishes she would have paid the 60 dollars to meet with someone who will revaluate your score.test . and mark by hand. Like I said Im not positive on the entire process but this is what she told me.....

Specializes in Medicine.

I'm just outside Toronto and I got my results. Pass!! Whoohooo

Congrats to everyone and Good Luck!

Specializes in NICU, PICU, PCVICU and peds oncology.

Blurr2, you can pay CNO to regrade your exam by hand, as Waitinggrad said. It's posible with those Scantron sheets for the computer to read an erased response and not the one you changed it to. It might be a waste of money but you'd know for sure then.

The other thing is to look at the glass as half-full. You were thisclose to passing this time so next time should be a cake-walk. "The greatest test of courage on earth is to bear defeat without losing heart." Robert Ingersoll

Hey all, the verdict is in............I PASSED!!!!! Not sure how true the alphabetical order rumor is but my last name starts with N and my friend who also got her results and lives down the street from me got her results (she passed as well, yah!) and her last name starts with C......doesnt really matter if they send them alphabetically, the mail gets mixed up with all the others. Congrats to all those who have been successful, and to those who have not, be positive that things will happen for you too.....let me tell you why.....

I am currently an RPN and almost 4 years ago, I failed my first attempt of the RPN registered exam.....I was very dissapointed in myself and it really made me qurestion whether this was the right profession for me. Instead of letting the failure run my life, it made me re-evaluate how much I really wanted to be a nurse and from that point on I have never looked back. I picked myself up and wrote the exam 4 months later, and was successful, after that I decided to go back to school and get my BScN in nursing andwork towards my RN, and here I am today, I have passed my RN exam and am loooking to the future.....

Coming from experience, a fail is not the end all-be all, let it inspire you to do better next time, let it give you the drive to succeed, it will happen for you just as it has happened to me...

Be strong these next few months and give it another shot, dont let one test dictate the rest of your life, use it as a stepping stone to achieve success in the future, if I gave up 4 years ago, I would not be able to share my success story with you all today.

Congrrats to all again who have passed, and to all those who have not, hang in there and try again, it will happen for you too, dont give up!!!:redbeathe:redbeathe:redbeathe:redbeathe
