June 2010 CRNE Results

I don't want to start the posts too early, but I was just wondering if anyone knew how long it is actually supposed to take to get results this year. I know that some people I worked with last summer got theirs in early-mid July. I checked out the CNO website and the CNA website (and a few others along the way) one says 8-12 weeks and the other says 4-6. I'm already driving myself crazy...if I have to wait another 8+ weeks I'll end up really going off the deep end :uhoh3:

Whitebunny- Please don't be so hard on yourself. I don't feel that these types of testing processes really are an accurate reflection of what the individual knows! Not everyone is great a MC testing, either.. I feel there are so many variables to consider, and nerves can really make it difficult!

I really don't believe it makes you any kind of loser on any planet! Tests suck.. ALL of the Nursing tests fail to really meet the mark, IMO.

Still waiting on my results.. VERY nervously.

Apparently there is someone who went to Ryerson that received their result today & they wrote in Toronto. Waiting to confirm if it's a pass or fail. lol. If this is true then the rest of us in Ontario should be receiving mail soon!

Also, the size of the envelope isn't necessarily a give away as to what the result is. Some result letters have permanent license info and paperwork in them as well making them thicker.

The CNO must have sent the results already if this is true?????

i just call cno they said very soon u will get u r result.........i dont know whether they mailed or not...???????

Hi! I live in Toronto. I just receive my mail and don't get any message from CNO. We have to wait. I think it's all what we can do right now.

No mail/results here in Toronto yet either. If the July 14/10 mail out is correct, then we may have something by Thursday/Friday at the earliest.

Nothing here either. I know the girl told me they wouldn't even be mailed until tomorrow, but I can't help but check about 1,000 times per day :uhoh3: Going crazy! Sick to my stomach with fear ugh.

hello gzowski and all,

i hope you will all receive good news especially for those who took the exam in ontario...i am taking my crne this coming october 6...you mentioned that most of your colleagues have taken an 8session prep course...would you know if there is one in toronto? also, i only bought the 5th cna prep guide...for those who passed, would you recommend any other reviewer that can was really helpful? your response is greatly appreciated...thanks

Yes, i did receive my results,here in alberta. But i am in missoula . My car is broke down. My relative works midnites. Apparently according to my message that was last week ...so that probably means i failed.

Hi fixmypctoday,

I used the 4th & 5th editions of the CRNE Prep Guide. Will this be your first time to write a nursing exam?

Being an IEN, I already reviewed extensively for my Philippine Nursing Licensure Exam. Aside from my textbooks (I read the Fundamentals of Nursing textbook from cover to cover that time), I used Saunders & Lippincott Nclex Review CDs to practice answering multiple choice questions which is similar to the CRNE Prep Guide with rationales for correct & incorrect answers.

It is important to review what you learned in school but it is also important to practice answering multiple choice questions within a specific time frame. For the June 2010 CRNE, we had to answer 208 questions within 4 hours (that means at least 50 questions every hour). Good luck! :)

ALBERTA nurses-june 2nd writing. I was told by CARNA that results will be going out in the mail today. The results should be in your mailbox at the end of the week.

I believe that those results sent out on Monday(yesterday), as you mentioned, are for those who passed the exam? because I know two friends who received their results yesterday and whose family names start with the first letter of the alphabet and the other almost the last letter of the alphabet "failed". The results of those who failed may have been mailed a week earlier. Hopefully, for those who have not received their results yet may have them in their hands towards the end of the week or Monday and may have made it in the exam.

Just wanted to say that I got my results today and I passed!! :) Goodluck everyone and congrats! Oh I got home and I found my certificate ripped in half by my 3.5 year old nephew and was taped up by my dad...yikes was I ever mad!! Is it possible to get another certificate mailed? I would like to frame it!

Nothing here in Ontario yet, and hoping that I will get my happy ending as well. My anxiety level is at the max point now to where I get nightmares that I failed. ...scarry.. Anyhow congrats to all who passed and for those that didn't get it this time don't lose hope..
