I am too taking boards July 8th. in Ohio!! im praying I do well, prayers go out to all who are testing July 8th with me! Pray for me cuz I need it

how are you all wrapping up studying ? what are u studying?

Im thinking ... take a break at 90 questions or take a break at 75 if u continue to go .

I am actually taking mine tomorrow but I am relaxing today...I am about to go out to eat and then maybe to a carnival or something :) Good luck! I'm in Michigan.

I took my NCLEX on July 4. I used three NCLEX review resources: The Hurst Review on site 4 day sessions; Saunders NCLEX 4th ed, and the Kaplan NCLEX strategy book. When it comes right down to it...I felt I was being tested heavily on application and analysis requiring a strong content base. So if you know your content I trust you will be fine. I have not gotten my results yet. The literature handed to me after the exam indicates 48 hours before you could get results by phone and longer by mail. I thought I would take a break after the 75th question...the computer shut off after that so I was done. I trust this was a good sign. Best wishes to those taking the NCLEX!!!!

I took my own breaks, doing deep breathing after every 15 questions. After two hours, I took the 10 minute break and I did only 5 more questions, until the computer went blink. I got 75 questions and was out! I found out today, I passed!!!

I am still doing 150-160 questions a day...... Going to chill Tues.... :uhoh3:

I test on July 8 and I plan on taking a mini breathing break every 15 questions. I will take a 10 minute break at the 100 mark. I am going to go in there relaxed, because Monday is my last day of studying. I am also attending bible study before I go take the test, since my test time is at 2:00pm. I will have my pastor pray with me prior to going in.

Well I am taking mine Tuesday, just finished up the studying, left my books in my trunk which will make me think twice before going out there to get them :-p Today I took a full 265 question exam from Hogan, took 10-min breaks every hour (took about 3 1/2 hours), read the rationals and called it done. Getting a massage tomorrow, maybe seeing a movie and going to bed early...I hope I'm ready! :uhoh21:

deep breathing... not a bad idea. yeah I went to church tonight to relax and see my old friends there . i havent been there for a awhile due to work/school/nclex, God will be with us and we will do great!!! (though im still feeling butterflys)

I am still doing about 400 questions a day...GEESH...Tomorrow I will review all content with Saunders. I have focused my entire time on Kaplan and now feel my content is poo! I just did saunders (RUSHED)..100 questions in about 30 minutes and scored 61%. I was just playing around..but tired...so I will review the entire test tomorrow.

I will then retake the content portion. However, I noticed a lot of disease processes in that content review that I NEVER saw with Kaplan. I have done EVERY question in Kaplan.

Taking a deep breath. My test is IN VIRGINIA at 8am! Gotta drive about 20 minutes so leaving really early because of traffic. Gonna sit in my car and rest my mind and gather my thoughts before I enter!

As far as test day: I will take a break at 90 (just in case it cuts off at 80!). I am hoping a shut off at 75..but I am prepared to take the entire 265 and PASS the FIRST TIME.

Scared yes...confident..I am working on it. I can do this, WE can do this..Prayers for everyone. Post as soon as you know on this thread...my results will be ready after 48 hours!

how did you do on kaplan scores test 6 and 7, and overall quiz bank? may i ask?

scaredtracy I dont know who ur asking but i got a 64 on Qtrainer 6 and a 66 on Qtrainer 7
