Hello everyone,
I'm planning to take my test in July and I am doing Suzanne first plan. Is anyone out there thinking taking their test in July please come and help and share ideas..
Thanks
I took my exam today (well, yesterday by now because it's after midnight :)). I feel ok about it. I don't want to get my hopes up but I feel as if I passed based on the types of questions I got. My computer shut off at 75. I had 21 SATA!!!! I thought I was going to die! I had teaching, prioritizing, cohorting (who would you room this patient with), 2 math problems that weren't too bad, 5 or 6 med questions, a few infection control questions, basically a mix of everything. The test was weird. None of the expected answers are on it. You really have to narrow it down to 2 answers and then kind of figure out what they are testing you on... Lots of critical thinking. I do feel that Kaplan was helpful and I feel that my tests in school had some similar style questions. I guess I'll find out tomorrow if I passed. Good luck to everyone left to take it and congrats to those who passed!!! Hopefully I'll be an RN soon too!!!
Hey all...
Took it yesterday, got 75 questions. Got about 15 SATA (ugh....hate those), a bunch of meds, no math, and lots of priority. So pretty much like a lot of the other posts in the last few days. Sigh....I've only checked the BRN website about 30 times today; hopefully I'll know tomorrow.
Funny....all that studying for a test that took 45 minutes.

Anyone taking NCLEX on July 31st? I have to drive 2 1/2 hours for an 8am exam >.
Also, for those who have used Kaplan: Did you like the online classroom? What's the difference between the qbank and the qtraining bank? Were any/all of these worth your time?
I'm using Saunders for content and questions and Lippincott for extra questions, along with a prioritization book, currrently, and have done about 2300 questions with a 60s-70s percentag rate.
