Hey guys,
A friend of mine took the NCLEX yesterday and finished at 75 questions. She said she got 30 alternate style questions (choose all that apply), which to her meant she was doing really well since it kept getting harder. Anyway, the reason why I bring this up is because I was under the impression that alternate questions only made up 4% of the NLCEX.
Anyone take the NCLEX and have the same experience. I'm really starting to freak out because if passing means having to get that many alternate questions, then I really need to step my game up! Alterante questions ARE my weakness coupled with pharmacology
Good luck to us, and yes July is cripping up the door.

There is no amount set on how many type questions you will get, it is all done depending on your answers
I keep freaking out about all of the people saying how many SATA questions they got out of 75 questions! On the other hand, I had multiple teachers through nursing school say that 15 of the questions you get on NCLEX don't count. They are kind of testing them out for future use as "real" questions (ones that count). So... maybe some of those SATA don't count... I hope so. I always do so badly on those!
